This was actually going to be the next park I included in the video, but the run time was already getting too long 😅 it will definitely be in part 2!

What place in London is associated with one of the most beautiful streets of modern Warsaw? This is Foksal Street. The current name is the Polish version of Vauxhall Gardens in London. Foksal Street was a walking garden and a place for public games. It was founded in 1772 by the banker Fryderyk Kabryt. The former garden alley was transformed into a street that inherited the name of the garden. 🙂 This story reminded me of you talking about parks and gardens in Warsaw. As a student, I spent a lot of time in the Lolek and Bolek bars and in the Park and Stodoła clubs. 😉

@@yakeosicki8965 okay…had no idea about that 😅 cool though 😊 at Skaryszewski park there is a plaque commemorating the fallen RAF squadron whose equipment they found in the lake. Also I know British industrialists were involved in Katowice and the mining done in that region

The Management of the Łazienki Park has just forbidden any sitting and walking on its lawns. Two reasons are stated for this. The first: Łazienki is a precious historical area, so it should be protected. Second: It's for people's own safety, as recent storms have toppled trees in the park, so if you walk on a lawn or sit under trees, you can get hit. I fully support this wise decision by the Management. But, I don't understand why people are still allowed to enter the Łazienki park in principle, because their presence hurts the historical area anyway, and trees may also fall on alleys and pavements, not only on lawns. Entrance should be therefore off limits to everybody (except the members of Management that perform their protective duties). Logically the same applies to all other parks shown by Richard in his video, because trees are everywhere and all may eventually fall on people's heads. Also, the Saxon Garden, Krasiński Garden etc. have no less historical value that needs 100% protection. So, all Warsaw's parks should be closed to the destructive public forever. Btw, as Warsaw is a city with lots of trees even along busy central streets, walking should be generally forbidden in the city too, as deadly branches may fall everywhere. Varsovians should stay in the not-that-historical underground metro stations where there are no trees. For their own safety.

Is this a joke are are you crazy? You are going to keep all the parks closed as tress may fall on their heads so what about cars on the streets? What is the ratio of deaths in the world by motor cars compared to deaths from falling trees?

Love this text, it took me a minute to see the sarcasm 😅 but it’s brilliant! I haven’t been to Łazienki this year and now I see it’s best to give them time to prune the trees 😂 luckily plenty of other beautiful parks to enjoy 😉

@@britinpoland2392 The Łazienki Management's explanation is ridiculous. The urban park is not a forest reserve, it's meant and designed to host people (lots of them) and offer them recreation. Even the historical Łazienki. The reasons for apparently weird decisions like this one are usually political. The Management wants to avoid cutting down old, sick, dying trees that threaten to fall with the first wind gust, fearing protests by extreme environmental activists.
