Nice vid, we kayaked bow falls to Canmore 2 weeks ago, thanks for the info on that part of the river, it was smooth sailing the whole way and we stayed right at Harvey heights, thanks again

Thank you. I picked up the crossover kayak which I must admit I am enjoying. Glad you got to do the bow river. It is a nice run. I try to do it every year. So scenic.

@@calslawnmaintenance5635 Good question. At the moment I love the Jackson fun but I have 4 kayaks. Yesterday I tried a friend's Jackson Antix 2 and it did not feel right. . You should try as many as you can to get the one you are comfortable with. Some great Kayaks out there and people are pretty good about letting you try them.

@@Dyrgas I have a Piranha 8ft and he has a madness perception 8ft, they do well, it’s no playboat but there good little river runners, we’ve done Harvey passage this year and that’s about as extreme as I like to keep it lol, I saw one of your videos and you started off in a lake then went down into the river, it looked like some class 1/ class 2 I will try and find that vid, is there any content out there about beginner rivers, or beginner sections

@@calslawnmaintenance5635 That was the Mistaya river. I took my wife on that section and she was good. She does not kayak.. Another good section you should try is the lower Kananaskis from canoe meadows to Seebe. I have not done that in a while I should do it again. it is class 2. Some small rapids and used by all the clubs for new kayakers. Also, there is the section of the bow river from ghost dam to Cochrane. I think Paddle junkies club do that section quite a bit during the summer
