As an Accies fan, good to see Clyde eventually get a "home" win. Like Clyde we have lost a lot of support, in our case 65% of regular attendees due to the ongoing disconnect between the fans and The Owners but it is slowly changing for the better. We sold the old ground for £7million but once the crooks on the then board got their fingers on the money, we were left with £650,000 to build a ground. The additional £2million from The Retail Park was to have been used to build a covered roof(the first in Scotland) but due to the aforementioned, this was not possible. Better days for both clubs surely in the future.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was our first league win since August and it felt magic! We have some of the most passionate fans in football, and the song book is endless! We don't have a large support, but we put many bigger clubs to shake when it comes to vocal support from the stands.

@@mattthegroundhopper9242 It was always the Glasgow middle class derby e.g. lawyers, doctors, accountants from the West and East supported either one,but when they shared a ground in the 80s,it just got worse! Clyde's main fan base moved out to areas in South East Glasgow area e.g. Cathkin,Cambuslang,East Kilbride etc so attendances went down! If they came back to Shawfield now, attendances would treble immediately!

Peterhead isn't in the Highlands, its in Aberdeenshire. Hamiltons ground viewing wise for a fan I think is decent as even in front row ur raised up from ground level and no restrictive views, though its weird having the catering at pitch level facing the park! In the professional game ground sharing shouldn't be a be a thing plain and simple. Unfortunately what you seen on the train heading the other way is seen from towns and cities around the country every week with folk heading to go watch 2 teams in Glasgow via rail and supporters buses, which isn't a great thing to see but they jump on the glory hunting bandwagon or the religious shite from those who 2 clubs. Not sure exactly when the 2 supermarket's where built there but the size of the ground is too big.for Hamiltons fan base really is as now or potentially has. Be interesting to see what crowd Hamilton take to their up coming cup final....

Thanks Andy, ok Peterhead is a long way north, you get the jist. This is why I have massive respect to all the fans in Scotland who watch their team who are not glory hunting the old firm, hence my selection of Scottish grounds I’ve been to so far, good post 👍🏻
