I always loved Bishop Bryant. When I got saved in 1980, my grandmother used to listen to his sermons every Sunday night at 11:30 pm. On WBAL Rev. Carter, Rev. Thomas and, lastly, Rev. Bryant. Im a pastor now, but he greatly influenced my early ministry. God bless you, Bishop. Thank you for your commitment and love for God and people.

Yes, "wed intellect with Spirit!" It's what I look for yet is missing in so many ministries today! I love Bishop Bryant, his wife, Rev. C, and his two children, Rev's Jamal and Thema. Look what God has done... continue to bless them all!🙏

Hi, I stumbled across this interview today Aug 26; the conversation with Bishop brought back memories when I joined St Paul, Cambridge years ago starting in 1973. God’s Word thru Bishop ‘s firey preaching fed me throughout the years, including when He was at Bethel where I joined also in 1985 after going to settlement on my first home in Baltimore. I thank God for all the preachers and conferences throughout the years as member of the AME Church. I take nothing from my experience and teachings I received from the AMEs and other Churches. May God continue to bless Bishop John, Rev. Cee, his children and Church family throughout. Isaiah 29:18,19 & Psalm 24:1. Peace & Blessing Miss Linda

I have already listened to this interview twice. I guess the third time, I shall take notes! Thank you so much Dr. Thomas for starting the program, and for capturing oral histories of such a diverse group of legendary preachers. Bishop Bryant, I thank God for your existence, your humility, and the gifts you have shared for decades. I’m positively impacted almost daily by one one of you Bryants!

South Africa Jan '24. Even out here the message resonating. From the testimony of your dad going back to 6th grade as a preacher who couldn't read, to your own testimony in the Peace Corpse. Left me revived, thank you.

Thank you Bishop Bryant! As a young preacher that does not have a hoop, this resonates with me! I love the way it sounds and make me feel but I had to come to a realization that that is a gift that God did not give me. So I’m learning to find my own voice and not be consumed with being like other preachers that I admire and love! Thank you!
