"Instead of using a charger or a placemat, I thought it would be really creative to use these rustic cutting boards at each place setting."
Sarah Gunn believes every table can be a work of art. In this episode of 'Tablescapes' she shows you how to style an East Coast-inspired dinner party table perfect for a seafood boil 🦞
DIY Cane Covered Glass
What you'll need:
A Roll of Cane
Glasses
Scissors
Glue Gun
Steps:
1. Cut the Cane slightly longer than the width of the glass, using a sharp pair of scissors.
2. Cut along the horizontal lines to keep the edges looking tidy.
3. You want the cane to wrap around 2/3rds of the glass.
4. Then use your hot glue gun to glue one edge of the cane to your glass.
5. Hold it in place.
6. Do the same thing with the other end and hold again
7. Make sure you glue the cane to the glass so that the glass doesn't slide through when you try to pick them up.
8. And there you go!
