Would it be possible to move the facial bones without breaking the rig? I am not sure if the modifications via an animation layer is transferable to Unreal? Thank you for your videos. Very useful!

Question - I often get skeletal rig mismatches when importing from maya - is there a specific thing you had to do to get around it for your skeletal mesh to use the existing head rig?

Hi you have remake the skeletal mesh duplicate a root look at the face joints it starts from spine 4 you need all the parents starting from root

When I change the body with metahamans, the groom binding has serious die penetration. When I look down and look up, the displacement of groom is always greater than that of the head. For example, when I look down, groom will run directly in front of my face. When I look up, groom will run behind my head. It may be because the height is different due to changing the body. Do you encounter this situation? How to solve it?

The groom component should be under face and if you are using binding make sure sucket is empty

it takes a lot of work and many steps I scripted it all. technically you don't need all the joints

(This comment is for anything facing the issue of updating the metahuman head, and needs an idea on how to solve it) 1.- Wrap your mesh on othe other metahuman, unless you worked on top of the metahuman base mesh. 2.- Delete any child of DHI:Spine_03 and the leg bones. 3.- Grab DHIhead:Spine_04 and child to DHIbody:spine_03 Select DHIBody:root, mesh, and export selected normally. If it does not work change your 3D software axis. For the reimport, follow this video's flow.
