Denominations are just stupid things us humans created to separate each other because of our disagreements and disputes. The Catholic Church isn’t perfect and I believe it is corrupt by putting man’s own words above God’s and putting greed over charity and doing our LORDs works. @@ziongamer2919 I mean this kindly, but you are unintentionally arguing like an atheist. Your argument is the same as atheists who say “who are you to judge me, didn’t your God say to love all.” God has standards. He threw out the merchants from the temple, he threw Adam & Eve from the gardens, he threw back the armies of pharaoh. We cannot be libertarian on Gods teachings, saying every denomination is fine as long as they believe in God. The devil believes in God, the fallen angels too. We need to be obedient to him. And is Gods words so cheap they can shared by a thousand different denominations, each with an opposing view?No that is impossible, as he is the truth (word) made flesh. And he created his church through the apostle, which we now call Bishops. In Acts 1 he lays out succession when Apostle Judas was replaced by Matthias. Now I ask, can you really say you are glorifying him when you reject his teaching? Clement 1 (Disciple of St. Peter & St. Paul), talks about a similar issue. Corinth had thrown out their presbyters (priests). His writing can be summarized: abandon your pride, sin no more and God will be merciful. For “It is shameful, dearly beloved, yes, utterly shameful and unworthy of your conduct in Christ, that it should be reported that the very steadfast and ancient Church of the Corinthians, for the sake of one or two persons, maketh sedition against its presbyters.” You will find little friends of your lax attitude to denominations in the earliest Christian, nor in a historical read of the Bible. They believed strictly in the authority of the priests through apostolic succession. A obedience that was due to them under the command of Jesus Christ. I of course had to summarize because I believe you didn’t want to read a pho essay in KZitem comments, but if you want to take more just reply.

@@Soyebakhtar0208 “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him” - John 3:16-17. God loves us and as a result, He sent His Son, Jesus, to make atonement for our sins so we could spend eternity with God in heaven. Catholicism recognizes that people in other religions may be in good conscience with respect to God, who will honor that fact. However, I warn muslims not to judge Christianity by what they have been told. Many muslims have heard erroneous stories about Christianity, some of which go back centuries. The Christians that Mohammed was in contact with tended to be heretics. As a result, muslims should know that frequently their books are not responding to authentic Christianity but to a counterfeit. I can show the actual Christian teaching. I am convinced the Catholic Church is true, that it is the Church Jesus founded and I'd be happy to share the evidence for this.
@SonicSnakeRecords
9 ай бұрын
@@Soyebakhtar0208 Let's address the misconceptions and fallacies presented in your argument shall we? 1. The Ten Commandments: As Catholics, we fully acknowledge and uphold the importance of the Ten Commandments. They are considered fundamental moral guidelines given by God to guide our actions and relationship with Him and others. The Church teaches that idol worship, as mentioned in one of the commandments, is indeed a sin and can lead one away from the path of righteousness. 2. Understanding Jesus Christ: Catholics believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. While it is true that the term "son of God" is used metaphorically for various individuals in the Bible, such as Adam, Solomon, and Israel, it is important to recognize the distinction. Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, has a unique and special relationship with God the Father. He is not simply a prophet, but the Word made flesh, who came to reveal God's love and mercy to humanity. 3. Qur'anic Verse: Quoting a verse from the Qur'an doesn't necessarily invalidate the Catholic belief in Jesus as the Son of God. Different religions have different beliefs, and as Catholics, we uphold the teachings of Jesus Christ, Son of God, as revealed in the Bible and handed down through apostolic tradition. It is essential to engage in respectful dialogue and understand that while our beliefs may differ, it is possible to engage in meaningful conversation and mutual respect for each other's religious convictions.

Matthew 23:9 ► „And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.“ God bless
@faithwisdom788
6 ай бұрын
@@HealedInChrist a careful examination of the context of Matthew 23 shows that Jesus didn’t intend for his words here to be understood literally. The whole passage reads, “But you are not to be called ‘rabbi,’ for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called ‘masters,’ for you have one master, the Christ” (Matt. 23:8-10). The first problem is that although Jesus seems to prohibit the use of the term “teacher,” in Matthew 28:19-20, Christ himself appointed certain men to be teachers in his Church: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . . teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Paul speaks of his commission as a teacher: “For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle . . . a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth” (1 Tim. 2:7); “For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher” (2 Tim. 1:11). He also reminds us that the Church has an office of teacher: “God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers” (1 Cor. 12:28); and “his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers” (Eph. 4:11). There is no doubt that Paul was not violating Christ’s teaching in Matthew 23 by referring so often to others as “teachers.”

@@HealedInChrist Paul regularly referred to Timothy as his child: “Therefore I sent to you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ” (1 Cor. 4:17); “To Timothy, my true child in the faith: grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord” (1 Tim. 1:2); “To Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord” (2 Tim. 1:2). He also referred to Timothy as his son: “This charge I commit to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophetic utterances which pointed to you, that inspired by them you may wage the good warfare” (1 Tim 1:18); “You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim. 2:1); “But Timothy’s worth you know, how as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel” (Phil. 2:22). Paul also referred to other of his converts in this way: “To Titus, my true child in a common faith: grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior” (Titus 1:4); “I appeal to you for my child, Onesimus, whose father I have become in my imprisonment” (Philem. 10). None of these men were Paul’s literal sons. Rather, Paul is emphasizing his spiritual fatherhood with them.

Father. Don’t eat that garbage for breakfast. Too much sugar, too early. Have an egg instead. If you want sugar eat some fruit. ❤️

@@jackcasem8221 Yes, but natural sugars are differnt than added sugars. Your body doesn't abosorb frutose in the same way as sucrose. If i understand correctly sucrose is broken down into half frutose and half gluclose. Gluclose isn't very good for you and after a quick boost makes you tired and sluggish.

Thankyou for your vocation. I love my sweets too! However I am a little older than you, and I regret now how much I liked FruitLoops. Take car of your temple, we need you around for along time.
