I flush water heater every year , just 3 years,2015 bradford white. Never change anode rod yet. Do i need to change? Anode rod. Bradford white is under the outgoing outlet. . Ao smith is good. Not under. Any pipe

It is recommended that you inspect the anode rod every 3 years and replace it every five. If you're doing it yourself it ain't so bad for longevity of the tank

If we went with that philosophy, we'd need to buy a million dollars in equipment. There's never a shortage of equipment that we could "need".
