When your tractors sit for a while they will get hard and when you drive fast it will be really bouncy for a few minutes. This happens to us every spring

The main frame of the planter where the row units mount needs to be level when the planter is in the ground

The reason the planter wasn’t going down is the hydraulic stops were in. You took the pin out but left it stops in

Yup. Figured that out a bit after I got it to drop. You live and learn I guess!

Yes you can add a remote stack for more remotes. Yes it sounds like you can remove the auger one as you noted too. Not experience with this particular setup but have done stuff similar with my flail. Also you need grease lots of grease and need to grease your stuff often 👍

it depends on the situation i think you put a triangle on your implements but usualy you can put one on the tractor

@Suits2Boots TIP: If you dont want to pay more money on hidraulics you can just use two pipes for driving from field to field and than unplug them and plug ones used for vacum, so dont worry for not being able to plant just swap them. Hope i helped :)

Hey, you could just remove the lines for the fertilizer auger and connect the lines for the vacuum. For next year you could add another remote stack to the tractor it’s not that expensive.

When you get done planting pull your planter plates out of the units. They will warp if not. Your vacuume pressure is gonna be important. I only plant corn with my John Deere so idk what pressure you need to pull but it’s important.good luck n be safe
@jaredlockwood8338

O tire pressure on planter especially ground drive are important as well.

Ya your kinda technically supposed to have a triangle othere thing your really not supposed to flip the drawbar the thing im wondering did you try dropping the hydraulics down / lifting the wheels on the planter then drive forward that should be enough and if you think you need more put a big washer between the top of the drawbar and the top part on the planter hitch

Get some leather gloves! Samea time from washing your hands a lot and saves your skin from getting pinched too hard from metals. Anything from really, but having a good pair of leather gloves is a life saver. Have fun farming ❤
