Well there’s a reason why autism is so prevalent. It’s not just happening for no reason
@maryblakley3590
Жыл бұрын
@@carissaexplainsitall8481 and that reason is not vaccines or chemicals or"toxins". It could be related to men fathering children at an earlier age. It could be that more autistic adults are meeting and having children with each other. It could be other things. But the tone, the implication that autism is a terrible death sentence-that attitude needs to go!
@carissaexplainsitall8481
Жыл бұрын
@@maryblakley3590 ya I’m pretty convinced it’s vaccines. Gave my first son all the vaccines and he has autism. I gave my second son only a couple vaccines and he’s fine. I’m currently pregnant with my third and refuse to give him or her any. And a lot of our food is extremely toxic which is why autoimmune disorders are so prevalent. You can make fun of us all you want but people are still getting sicker and the common denominator is toxic chemicals and heavy metals in our food and vaccines
@erinnyren5564
Жыл бұрын
@@carissaexplainsitall8481 I think part of that reason, truly, is better diagnosis and understanding of the condition. Now we understand that not everyone who is autistic “looks” autistic, or is non-verbal, or stims noticeably, or has public meltdowns, or struggles with social situations in the same way. Now all those people who were labeled in the past as “shy”, or “weird”, or “awkward”, or “strange”, or (the worst one of all) “retarded” all have a new label-or more accurately, a diagnosis. The truth is they were always there, we just wanted to label them in nastier ways.

As a mother of a girl in this toxic culture, I made a conscious choice to never have a scale in the home and when she was a child and in the awkward stage between little girl and young lady, when we went to the doctor for her wellness checkups we casually began weighing her backwards and not saying the number out loud. I explained to her when she asked about these procedures that the number didn't matter to anyone but her nurse and doctor who used the numbers from her height and weight to compare against her previous numbers just to make sure she was growing.

@@keeshy Same here. I've found that if I start my morning off with Oats Overnight or an Alani Nu protein shake, my mental health and wellbeing overall are just MILES better than if I DON'T start my day out that way. Plus with Oats Overnight it's super easy, just add milk, mix, stick in the fridge overnight, wake up, shake it up, drink it, 15g+ of protein in one part of my meal. I also love to drink fruit juices in the morning with pulp. I just had my oats and am about to make family breakfast. I was at WinCo last night and bought some frozen O'Brien potatoes, and am adding some eggs on the side. I find that the earlier I wake up and start my day, the better I feel too. Especially because I give myself quiet me time for the first hour or two when I wake up where I eat, relax, plan my day, watch videos or a movie. I start my day off a lil anxious, I have to calm myself down when I wake up. Horror movies are my go to.
