New York State really has it all. Atlantic Ocean. Two Great Lakes. Border with two Canadian Provinces, and mountains, lakes, farms, quaint towns in between.

Thank you, as an old man now, I spence my summers with my grandparents at their camp between Clayton & Cape Vicient. I remember Clayton of the 1960's and 70's, what a change. I glad for the people of Clayton, but it looks like as priced out the people I remember having a modist cottage on the river for the summer.

Elliot, Jen. and Ollie, I have beeen following you for about a year. I am an avid boater and have really enjoyed watching you carve out a liveaboard lifstyle. I am also mostly a plant based whole foods vegetarian and have enjoyed watching what you are preparing and eating, but why don't you consider doing a weeking cooking video on what you make and how to prepare foods and overcome the challenge cooking while cruising and when your through with the great loop you could publish and e-cookbook on cooking and living a vegetarian lifestyle of a livaboard boat.

Hey that’s our Wicked Good in the background coming into Clayton. Met you briefly with the lost duckling and didn’t know you were vlogging. Subscribed when we found your channel as we are planning another trip but up the coast to Georgian Bay and Mackinac Island. The water was cold and clear and we planned on three days in the Admiralty Islands but spent two weeks. Yes it’s that kind of place. We went down the St Lawrence and completed the Triangle Loop before returning to Florida. Will be watching your videos from here to ? Thanks for sharing.

Our stomping ground, we bounce between Clayton, Cape Vincent and Alexandria bay all summer and once again, we missed you by a day. The ROAM app makes it easy for us Canadians to check in without hassle. BTW, we call them Muskoka chairs, kind of a friendly arguement.

Being a wooden boat owner you arein one of the fine spots to see some great work. Smart sitting out the next blow because the great lakes can be deadly. Enjoy the clear water while your up there. A season change is coming.

I live here. Have my whole life. On that downtown strip. ❤ the Harbor hotel. The most commercial place in town. Lol. My husband built almost the entire shoreline that runs along clayton. Super neat to see on KZitem. It's definitely a one of a kind town. You have to come late aug and visit potters Beach in a hot not windy day. You'll meet everyone who matters on the river.

Elliott, I didn't get that you were a competitive swimmer before, but that dive into the water only comes from years of racing starts off the blocks. Decent stroke too, but I'm with you Jen; the water is too cold to enjoy a swim The marina, town and museum all look great - I'd love to visit Clayton someday. For now, I'll enjoy the visit through your videos..

An interesting concept of North American history. First the Algonquin, then the French, then the Americans came. I wonder where the "Americans" came from? 😂😂😂
