Normally I don't comment on videos, but your channel is exceptionally good. We found it while preparing for our trip to Georgia and with your videos and interesting information it feels as though we are already on holiday. Keep up the good work, you deserve much more subscribers.

Thanks for watching! While we don't have a specific guide to recommend, going to Mestia from Usghuli on a day trip is pretty simple and affordable. Any number of drivers are available in the center of town in Mestia (where you'll get dropped off if you take a marshrutka or taxi). You can either arrange it a day before or in the morning of, all for 50 GEL. Hope that helps! You don't need to worry too much about having it prearranged. You can definitely arrange it when you get there!

Looks interesting! Was it a group tour from Mestia city? And how many hours was the tour?

We were out from 8:30am to 5pm and were given quite a bit of free time in Ushguli to roam around on our own. It cost 50 GEL (about USD $18) per person.

Hi iam traveling to kutaisi this june with my baby... How far is ushuguli from kutaisi.. how can i go there? And how far is Mestia from kutaisi
@ChensofaLifetime

Kutaisi to Mestia would take at least 5-6 hours and then another two hours to Ushguli. We'd recommend taking a marshrutka or taxi to Mestia from Kutaisi, staying there overnight, and spending the whole next day going to and visiting Ushguli! Have an amazing time and let us know if you have other questions!

It is mostly a driver who stops at different places and explains a little bit at each place. But the tours are very easy to arrange the day before or the day of your intended visit in Mestia. Once you arrive in the center of town, there are any number of locals offering these tours. They are all pretty comparable in price (50 GEL per person)!
