A Swede and American in London at a Viet restaurant, drinking Korean sojubombs (Korean party drink - the beer and clear drink you had at the restaurant). Seeing the world in that one moment 🍻

Yes, we're starting really small to feel it out (keep your eyes out for mid-Dec) but if it seems like a good thing, we'll continue to add to it :)

Ni borde göra en video på svenska med engelsk text eller något! Det skulle vara så kul för både svenska och icke-svenskar.

I'm from San Diego, but I have a very adaptive voice and it generally takes on other accents without me noticing it. Even when I listen back to myself talking I can't hear it, though I can pick out even the smallest hint of an accent on other people.

@@ThisColorfulWorld That's usually a sign of someone's language learning capacity. (hope that made sense in English...) Anyway. Those who's accent stays unaffected by their environment are set firmly in their native tongue, and don't wish to adapt and learn a new language. Subconsciously developing an accent means your brain is already working on a way to adapt to your surroundings. A sign of high intelligence, both socially and by the standard IQ measurements (I'm basically just making up English as I go along now. I hope that works) Anyways. I'm a sucker for group psychology and linguistics. The art of communication is a beautiful thing. Weirdly enough, developing an accent is often frowned upon as a sign of weakness (Madonna developing a British accent when she moved there, comes to mind). When instead it is the opposite. It tells me, "I like you. I want to meet you half way. I want to learn your language."
