Sam talking about his slump but then also how, with every song, he tries to increase his range or improve his writing is so incredible. Juice feels like the perfect song to portray the chaos and struggle but also the kind of gritty joy of overcoming that and coming back with a BANGER

I can't really pick a "favorite part" because the whole thing is just so awesome. But my mind was blown from the over-sharpness in the pre, that's really something you don't expect in pop. And my mind had another reset when I learned just how much Simon Petrén LOVES mixing...

This was SO FUN to watch even for music noobs like me. Their enthusiasm and passion were very infectious! Sam definitely grew up so much after his slump and I can't wait (but I will wait patiently) for his album. Simon is such a sweet and super talented guy, I'm so glad Antenna artists work with him often! This kind of sneak peek (it's more than a peek tho!) to the musical process of our fav artists is so rare, so thank you Umu and ReacttotheK team for this!!!!!!!! 😭

I really want to understand Sam Kim's new song because there's only limited info I can know/search of and what is available on internet for intl fans so I really love this interview how it go deep explaining even a bit of sound, the beat, tunes that even you listen to this song a lot you won't even notice it like that sad christmas tune, the backstory of how's 'The Juice' is made and everything. I feel dumb with all those technical terms and my head hurts just looking at the editing program with those boxes and such (I'm not even sure what it's called hahaha) I really love how Simon understand Sam like they're perfectly match and the outcome of their work is masterpiece. And the special treat!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH ㅠㅠ People who don't listen to The Juice definitely missing out a good song. Will patiently wait for more amazing music from you Sam and Simon! (Their work is amazing, I really love These Walls and i didn't know Simon cleaned that toilet 😂 for Sam hahaha. No wonder I love it. Simon hates mixing but he's so good at it!!) Hey Umu!! I wasn't familiar with Sam Kim other than the song with Suhyun in Everest but I watched The Juice reaction and was infected by everyone's intense love for it (and after days of replays on spotify) so I gave this vid a go. Noooo regrets I just LOOOOOOOVE looking at Sam's excitement in showing all the details and sharing the behind the scenes stories (his stank face when listening the dirty syncopation made me pause the vid and write this bcs I found myself really enjoying seeing him like this and like wanna be his friend just to hang out and hear him talk about his passions more). like i dont know this dude other than those two videos but im rooting for him like u go dude go get the juice XD basically just wanna say thank you for sharing us these kind of content! I've been silently following for a few years now and never commented so just wanna say im so proud seeing how much the channel grew. I'm a music noob but its still so enjoyable to see musicians appreciating musicians and it also taught me to be more appreciative of music too! (esp fun to find out explanations what makes songs sound good to me etc etc) keep it up, you're doing great! hope youre staying safe and healthy!

I'm still watching this so I'm probably going to add to or edit this comment later, but I'm so glad Sam found a close collaborator and almost mentor? or at least senpai type figure with Simon. As a creative feeling unable to believe in your own work and skill is so mentally taxing, and it really takes the spark out of doing something that you normally love. I'm so glad Sam (with the support from Antenna fam!) was able to feel up to it again, and have someone to work creatively with so that it's not just sort of making stuff and not knowing if your decisions are the right ones. Anyway I'll continue watching but basically I'm just getting such a warm fuzzy feeling from this video and I'm only at the 13 min mark! Thanks again Umu for such a great interview 💙💙

Wow ty so much reacttothek team (Umu and editor and everyone else) for such a wonderful interview! Seeing what goes into making a song and the creative process is so cool to see even for somebody like me who really has no clue about sound writing! And also a big shout out to Sam and Simon for being amazing and going over the process! I loved hearing about the different sampling (I was definitely getting Zelda vibes too haha) and how sometimes the more “perfect” vocals aren’t always what’s best for a song! Also, I really appreciate Sam sharing his struggles regarding his slumps but also the triumphs of trying to improve and be kinder to ourselves! And lastly that acoustic session was such a wonderful gift 🤩🤩, it was *chef’s kiss*
