Kyle Denny was killed when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree on Gut road. His 16 year old younger brother was also in the vehicle. He survived but was hospitalised.

Once your alternator "goes", the vehicle will run off the battery until it's depleted. Then it's the shoe leather express, Triple A, or thumb in the air. Glad things worked out for you.

very...very cool tunnel. I love the camera technique of leaving on ground behind you and filming yourself walking ahead. Good. Remember, watch out for the Undead and zombies.

Fabulous video. What happed about your car is what my daughter and I say “God moment”. It’s such a blessing knowing He watches over us. You came across some lovely wildlife. That tunnel was beautiful, that stonework was amazing. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care

What a beautiful egret. Those culverts remind me of an entrance to a castle. I bet a shower felt good after all that dust. Looking forward to the next section. Take care❤❤❤❤❤

I did this section on May 18 in the rain, so didn't have to contend with the dust. I commented in my own video that this was a long boring road walk. Once you reach the end of the road, you turn to the right and begin a long steep uphill climb into the state park, but the views are worth it. Thanks for another great video.

The Black Gut is mostly now just Hartman Run, but it used to be a split off of the Conewago Creek. The Toporanger has been exploring the islands and channels of the Susquehanna in that area lately, and the Running Into History guy has explored the abandoned quarry at the upper end of the tunnel, with landowner permission. Interesting how this stuff all comes together!

now you're in my neck of the woods..i hike here often down through the Riverlands. I'm excited for your next section here - I always go down the creek and follow it up to Schulls rock. I haven't found a way to avoid the road entirely to Hellam Hills ( another favorite place for me as i only live 3 miles up the road).

God prevented Niomi from stranding you in the middle of nowhere. He also gave you an emergency flashlight to explore the tunnel. There was demonic graffiti in the tunnel though. This was kinda a Heaven vs Hell Episode.

again, this is another area that is good for hideout after the Zombie Apocalypse or Nukes come on in. Set up a base camp in hidden tunnel woods area, and bring some good seeds to plant in nearby soil, and use the surrounding trees to create for yourself a Bow and some arrows. Burry some gold coins and stash nearby just in case. and get some battery operated equipment.

The stone work coming out of the tunnel's some good stuff. A pleasant grey sky and some lonesome railroad track make for an odd little place. The needed a full murder of crows to set a more defined mood alas was absent. The dirt road was delightfully desolate.Where are my birds of carrion, my crows and ravens. They are the true geniuses of the woods?.

You should always have a backup flashlight. Especially with the type of videos you make. Your backup to your backup should take regular batteries. AND be sure to carry a backup battery!

Maybe I missed it but what is the history and reason for the tunnel? Worker access to the quarry or maybe drainage?

Check your insurance policy. You might have towing coverage. If not, it is well worth adding to your policy. Cheaper and more efficient than AAA in my experience.
