I love the look of your stumps! why are they 2 different sizes? you look awesome with no legs! sure wish I could get my arms or legs amputated!

I'm glad you are doing so well adapting to your new situation! Keep working on desensitizing the residual limbs, start by gently massaging the stumps and as time goes by use different textured materials like a cotton rag then a terry cloth then something like a soft bristle brush; the idea is to get that scar tissue used to different textures and pressures. The pain you are having now on your left side is due to the sutures that the surgeon used to secure the ends of your severed muscles of the thigh. This will take some time to get better and sometimes (unfortunately) it never goes completely away. I'm a right below the knee for a little over 2 years and the spot where they attached the muscle flap to the covering of the residual tibia (periosteum) still hurts when I press on it. It's tolerable but sometimes it really bugs me. You are however, making good progress and I can tell that you are engaged in your recovery, kudos!
