Brilliant idea, Dean. Great way to recycle and repurpose old equipment.

Awesome idea, Dean👏! I loved the "Just threw this together while I was talking to my dad" .... Hell, some of us wouldn't be able to throw this together even after a months of thinking, sorting or planning, lol😂. Tony 🇺🇸

I have lots of thrown together stuff, they often work (kinda) but look ugly as hell (I can relate 😂)

Wonder if an adjustable voltage regular could slow it down enough?

Maybe could put a variable speed controller for a router table would work

Great idea. I wonder if you could install a thingy like a sewing machine pedal to step down the power flow and slow the grinder down?

I think grinders use a mini induction motor and they’re often challenging to reduce speed on unless you’re using a VFD. I’ve heard some voltage regulators that work on the plug mostly don’t work, but if they do they damage the motor over time. I keep looking into it but I’m just not clever enough to figure it out lol
