This is awesome. I just bought a whole bunch of receptacles at a big orange box store to replace out my, I'm pretty sure they're from the 80s, receptacles. This will save me so much time. Thank you. EDIT: Using the link in your descriptions, the pack of 10 is $25 at the big orange box store. I happen to need 12, but the price isn't that bad for the amount of time that I'll be saving. I wish they had this for the GFCI outlets.

Awesome, glad this was helpful! I'm sure they'll expand the line later once these start to get more popular... GFCI would be a great addition.

Can't you do GFCI at the breaker box?

Like any other 15 amp duplex receptacle, these can be used on a 20 amp circuit, so a 20 amp version is unnecessary.

Just picked up 3 10 packs (didn't qualify for the bulk price) and it's cheaper than regular tamper resistant decora... like 3 bucks per 10 pack cheaper.

I like using them. Sadly they still only have receptacles and 2- and 3-way switches. I have missed dimmer switch and USB socket versions already and I am sure I will start to miss 4-way switches and various wireless, sensor and timer devices using the same format. One odd thing is that with the receptacle you can easily loop hot and neutral through, but not ground. There is only one neutral clamp so you still need some extra tools and materials to do a complete install. I wish they could get that certified. Perhaps get a change in the rough-in check procedure? But I guess that's where fact meets fiction. Electrical inspections seem to become more of an art when it comes to grounding 🙂

I gave it a shot and purchased a 10 pack, I twisted one around a little bit, the wire started sliding out. Then I tried another, same thing. The clamps probably give the same amount of grip you get with a backstabbed receptacle. The only benefit is the no exposed terminals. If pig tail time and effort is not desired. Clamps under the screw terminals with a wrap of electrical tape remain the best option.
