@@alouverdun9137 no timeouts and incompletion would stop the clock. Lynch hadn't been great that year statistically and if he didn't get the touchdown that woulda been the game. That's the only reason I can see. Still a dumb as hell call.

This game was a wild one! I enjoy games like this, so much. The defense of the Rams was *INSANE*, but that generally happens when a team gets to pick very early in the 1st round, nearly every year... I used to hate how the OC would call those plays which had Russ doing 7 & 9 step drops from under center... Can't wait to see the 'Hawks kick butt in 2019. Go 'Hawks!!!!!

Hawks fan here. Rams played a hell of a game! I don't think Russell was running out of the pocket as much as later in his career. They've paid for that many times over. If they let him go from the beginning watch out! They're talking about doing that this season. This was an exciting game!

I kinda liked those Rams unis. I mean they're not as good as the throwback '70s unis but those are ok. I wouldn't have gone with an empty backfield look on that last play either. BTW I hope one day the NFL can get digital rights to post full classic games (and unedited save for network promos) like they did for a while there a couple or so years ago. I really think it'd be great to have a hand full of full games during the offseason. Still, this was pretty good. Thanks for the hard work NFL Throwback.

Another example of about 20 games in 2012 and 2013 that the defense had to bail out Russell Midget Wilson. Happened far too often. Funny, since the defense has become less effective, Seadderall Shecawks haven't been past the 2nd round. LOL!!

Ever since Seattle emerged from the AFCW-NFCW back in '02. Rams have ALWAYS been a thorn on Seattle,besides '05-'09. '04 Rams swept Seattle when Marc Bulger was their qb. Rams always play Seattle tough and vice-versa.

When Rams beat Seattle back in the wildcard game in '05 that was their last win at Qwest/Century Link Field until '17. Took "12" years for the Rams to beat Seattle at Qwest/Century Link Field. Rams have a lot catching up to do vs Seattle with 8 division titles,3/3 NFCCG with 3 Superbowl appearances. Seattle wasn't in the NFCW when the St. Louis Rams won Superbowl 34 vs Tenn. Lol.
