True. The government must address the root cause: unemployment. All those roadside kiosks and eateries as well as bodas point to the average Kenyan trying to eke out a living.

Hi Dolphine, I grew up in Nairobi but moved back home in 2018, I've not returned to Nairobi since then and I'm seeing lots of changes in terms of development in the city in the sun. Everything is getting more beautiful, more modern and a bit cleaner. Nairobi is simply above money other cities in our region except for Addis Ababa which currently has the tallest building Ethiopia Commercial Bank (ECB) tower in our region, Kigali Rwanda leads in terms of cleanliness and sophistication. Nairobi is far ahead Kampala, Arusha and my city Juba however, Raddison Blu in my city beats its counterpart in Nairobi by heights, beauty and size. Keep the performance up Dolphie...

Enjoy Kenya the whole of Africa is beautiful comparison must be based on needs n personal preference. I see many people comparing contries in Africa, Africa should be ine and strive to developing the entire continent like the United States, we will have to deal with corruption and coercive rule of African presidents who want to stay in power forever without considering the needs of ordinary people. Africa is blessed with the kindest and warmest people so we must not trash each other based on location on the continent, as i do research there are many developed countries on the continent, Im proud to be African and South African, Africa has come a long way to develop since we have been colonised n oppressed, so lets celebrate eaxh other n visit the underdeveloped places using our education and business acumen to bring the change we want to see

Absolutely. Kenya has serious potential but there's lot of medioctity in its leadership. Tge citizens need to hold the leadership accountable. Why would we not construct walkways, mark roads and generally maintain cleanliness and do proper landscaping? Hopefully, one day someone with the right vision and servant leadership will emerge.

@TheTororist
Жыл бұрын
yeah, if i had my way, perimeter walls would be banned. we made a lot of noise when britam was coming up, lots of emails and finally they went with a design that incorporates no perimeter wall at their enterance. the walls/fences make the place look ugly and segregated. and every building would maintain their portion of the sidewalk.
