He was not just an incredibly brave and supremely intelligent man, he was not just an American icon. Neil Armstrong was one of the single most important people to have ever existed, and to say that he was and always will be a true HERO to all Mankind is not an understatement in the slightest. Thank you Neil, thank you so much.

@@richardsmall7893 Actually, (in a propulsion and technology standpoint) Yes, we could have. To get to the moon and back, you need around 9100 m/s of Delta-V, the Saturn V (the rocket that DID send astronauts of Apollo 8-10 (not landing) and 11-17 (landing, except 13) to the moon) had 17911.9 m/s of Delta-V which is quite a bit more. Also, the flight computers were VERY sophisticated at the time, weighing 70 pounds (pretty light for something in 1969 that is flying the biggest rocket EVER MADE) Also, would you mind sharing your so called "Evidence", I don't wanna hear any of that "Van Allen Belt Radiation" garbage. I was a nursing student in 1997 and was interned in hospital and cared for me. Neil Armstrong . He was indeoduxing himself to me but , I was in shocked after another patient died and could not respond to him, I hope he did not think that I was ruined, but in my mine, I was going to say, “I am honored to meet you”! I was felt the class and so releeved because I was sadden and cried knowing anther patient was going to die, , as result of painful experiences, I didn’t go to work for 4yrs. And in 2012 , I cared for a patient, and he died , as a result , I have had PTST, and now care for elderly mom for the last time and I had to give up health care careers, but I am still helping people related to health problems. I wish, I took picture with him and asked for his autograph. My teacher didn’t mention that I care for him, even though, I was the one whom I might save his life. I am still proud and honeored to be part of his care. I am trying to buy gold coins on moon land and so on. May mr. Neil Armstrong rest and peace and and will be his guardian angle❤❤❤!

Tip of the spear is a term that makes no sense. Neal Armstrong's last interview, in my view, was his confession. 400,000 employees had zero clue about the mission and built gadgets or worked on things. There were never400,000 working for NASA but closer to 10,000. Nixon was ordered shut down the Apollo hoaxes.
