A castle besieged 13 times on the border of England and Scotland is today's focus.
Norham Castle, a fortification fought over for 450 years between the 12th and 16th centuries now sits a romantic ruin overlooking the banks of the River Tweed. Day two of our recent Northumberland castles and coast workshop brought us to this ruin made famous in the 19th century by JMW Turner. As he is a huge influence, I'm back again to try and make some work I love. Do I succeed?..🤷♂️ I may drop a couple of nuggets of wisdom as we try anyway! 😉😊
