It does exactly what it says on the tin: The French Chaîne Agricole (@chaineagricole), the “Agriculture Channel”, delivers hands-on agricultural knowledge for the initiated as well as the novice. And with seven years under its belt, it’s become one of the mainstays of the French blogosphere on the subject. More than 130,000 people have already clicked the “follow” button on KZitem. Incidentally, it was also the first agricultural channel that I followed before I started my own. So I thought the three-year anniversary of “Tous Terriens !” (yay!) was a good occasion to visit the man behind the channel, David Forge. David kindly agreed to welcome me onto his farm in the Touraine region and, over the course of a late summer day, let me in on all the secrets of his channel and the making of the videos he puts out every week. Of course, being the prime pedagogue that he is, he couldn’t help but explain the odd thing along the way, leading me to discover interesting new elements of the farming techniques he applies on his farm and develops in his videos. If anything, I’m a proud follower!
The very first video David ever published, by the way (and which he couldn’t remember in my video 😉) is this: • Visite champ de luzern...

“Tous Terriens !” is an independent series, born from a sense of civic and professional duty to deliver quality information on the environmental and societal issues of our day. In keeping with this, I’ve self-financed this video.
