The best of these KZitemrs seem to be able to create these short form narratives that, at first, appear to be single send ups of typical workplace clowns and social "Karens". Then, suddenly *BOOM* - they switch up on ya, go surprisingly deep with the storyline and hit ya right on the feels... 🤔🥹

I'm not even sure it's corporate brainwashing at this point, I think it's toxic family and not seeing value in yourself other than work. Because even with a supervisor who clearly doesn't buy into the corporate BS, Brenda is still stuck like this.

This little story... It started with Brenda just being such a pain. But now she's the character I root for the most and look forward to seeing videos about. Really makes me think about how we don't know what people are going through that irritate us. Also, just thank you so much for this story. It's one of my favorite things on KZitem. Every time I see that you've posted another episode I get. So excited and can't wait to come see what will be the next change on your corporate office drama.

I'm so invested in the Toodaloo story line, and I love the characterization. For example, Brenda is so highstrung she barely even has time to blink. Great to watch.

Oh my gosh, as an artist myself, that hits hard. Her mom really crushed that hobby of hers so much that when Donna Sue asked what she used to like to do, Brenda didn't even think of painting. That's heartbreaking.

May be Brenda was average in both studies and painting. May be her mom figured if Brenda focuses in studies, she would be able to make a living. It is a dog eat dog world. Parents want their kids to survive at least.

@Nicole B We don't know that she belittled Brenda's enjoyment of drawing. She may have just convinced her to put more energy into what seemed to be a more certain path. There are a lot of people who are gifted artists that cannot make enough money to live on by pursuing art alone.

My mother was toxic for me… turns out I have ADHD (diagnosed at nearly 58years of age) and this explains why I was a disappointment to my mother. She died 6 years ago at 93. I dream that if she’d known… things may have been different. 🙏🏼
