Thank you for posting this I can relate to this as I lost my wife in 89 to cancer leaving me and my two small children It was the worst experience seeing her suffer through treatment The easy part was her dying and not suffered anymore

Such a beautiful story. Molly looked so beautiful as she changed in her years. She was so fortunate to have such a lovely family and wonderful team of Carers as well as Doctor.

clear communication and open expectations are essential, sounds like you had a wonderful GP, I understand how important it was that you made sure your mum had a good quality of life. Thank you for sharing your story
