Such a cozy video! I have a recommendation for you regarding "the sofa" (because you don't have "the chair" 😅) - I got a very simple coat stand for my room and it's life changing. You can throw clothes on it that would normally lay around on "the chair" - you don't even need to hang them, i got one from ikea for 15 euros that I can just pile onto (secondhand options on ebay marketplace are usually even cheaper). The room looks so much neater automatically and you don't have to sacrifice seating space 😅 Greetings from Germany 🥳

Virginia Woolf is a true feminist of the first wave feminism. P.S. Btw there is no direct ban of cannibalism in the Bible and in the Quran, as I know. You can find there a direct ban of the rabbit meat, but not the human flesh. Thats funny.

Always thrilled to see another Leonie VLOG. I know I'll be adding titles to my already-infinite TBR list. Currently reading "The Iron King"--my first foray into YA Fantasy in awhile, on your rec! Are bookstores fairly cheap in the Netherlands? I remember many moons ago living in London and being just amazed at how cheap it was to buy books! Have a great week, Leonie!

Your reading vlogs always brigthen my day, fun and aesthetically pleasing as well, thank you for that ^^ Also, these water bottles!! I first saw these when I lived in Paris, every other student had one, and when I saw a Van Gogh themed one I had to get it and I've loved it ever since - but never seen anyone else with these here, in Hungary. On an other note: Bastille is amazing live! Saw them at Sziget Festival a couple of years ago and it was one of the best concert experiences I had there ^^ I hope you'll have a great time as well!

Cannibalism, vampirism = desire/craving/yearning + violence + the need to be nourished in relevant ways. The last couple of years have disrupted the ability to be fully satiated in all the obvious particulars. Consuming audiovisual and literary texts that focus on protagonists and antagonists and their pursuit of hedonistic fulfillment became the substitute. That's my Intro to Media Studies and Cultural Anthroplogy take on it. ^J^ Mads Mikkelsen is fantastic in Hannibal (I rewatched the whole series last year) and I picked up A Certain Hunger because of your channel. Have you read Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite? It was published in the late 90s.

I really think you'll enjoy reading "all about love" (not sure about the English title because I'm brazilian), but it's a really amazing book. and also "teaching to transgress" is really good if you're interested in something more about education (against all forms of oppression). oh I could talk about bell hook's work forever. I really hope you enjoy :)
