A change of regime in Iran could bring peace to the Middle East.

"He leads a relatively comfortable life".... He was worth approx 4B, aid stolen from the US and Eu, etc. Typical WP.

This is an estimate by the Israelis. They don't know how much those guys are worth. I'm not saying they aren't rich. But there's no evidence of them being worth $4 billion.

@@johnjohn0 if that makes you feel any better, say he's worth 400M, 90% less. All stolen from US, EU aid money; do you feel better now? The way you justify this in your head is insane. Are you now going to tell me he was a savvy investor who invested in AAPL, NVDA, etc. 20 years ago? Regardless, he was a terrorist.

Let's assume that he had 1% of this amount, then why would he leave his immediate family in a war zone who were ultimately killed by the Israelis! Sure his life was better than a normal middle class person in Gaza but aren't all politicians better off everywhere in the world! The more you understand that this is a liberation struggle for Palestinians, the more all geo political situations in that region would make sense!

@@the-architect7789 This isn't a liberation struggle for Palestinians. They didn't even sell Palestinian flags in Gaza 3 or 4 years ago - Hamas has little to no interest in a Palestinian nation. The Houthis reinstituted slavery and people in the US are cheering them on. Slavery! Iran couldn't care less about Israel, Gaza or the West Bank. This is about Iran's vision of bringing Islam back to "greatness" and an Islamic caliphate. Palestinians could have had their own nation back in 1936, with 80% of the land and said no. UNRWA was supposed to be a temporary agency yet it's 75 years old. The temporary refugee agency for Koreans after the Korean War resettled 3M refugees in approx 2 years and then shut down.
