I fully understand and believe in God's sovereignty. It's really simple, he either is or he is not sovereign. If he weren't, then by definition he wouldn't be God and wouldn't be able to ordain whatsoever comes to pass. However, my mind comes to a screeching halt every time I contemplate how his sovereignty and our free will play together. I can't wrap my mind around it. I just to choose to believe that he is ultimately in charge and that I'm not.

I choose that too. I’ve wished so many times I didn’t have this free will!

This shouldn’t be all that hard. God, in his sovereignty, chose to give man free will and the ability to make his own choices.

Sometimes, I just find myself wishing, almost, praying, God would take it away. I do understand why we have to have it to choose God, to choosing to obey. That was a great point about the tyrant. And, I liked the analogies especially the one above the doll because the girl pushed it and God wouldn’t do that. I don’t know if u will ever fully understand because if God knows our whole life when we were in the womb. Then, he has to know our free will choices to know the trajectory of our lives beyond that choice. I get it he as God cannot stop that free will choice but wow sometimes I really wish he could. So I try to learn and listen better hoping I follow that ordered path straying as little as possible ! Btw, I really appreciate your channel because you give us content that so many don’t like to address. I said content, because much like God and free will, you give us information that helps make sense. Yet, you always leave it a bit open ended so we may have better understanding but still have choose for ourselves. You so clearly leave the explanation open ended! 🙏❤️
