Hey Joe, your video was great today, one of the best I thought. I noticed it was a Full Moon when I left the house soon after watching, & your points in the video about how the Moon came into creation returned to me. My mind went on a flight of fancy & it helped me see the incredible odds of our reality in a new light. Thank you, & I'm glad you're feeling better.

So glad to hear you are recovering! I feel like it's been a very LONG time since I was last sick (for an extended period). Last time, I had an allergic reaction to oak... I was very surprised by it because I thought it was just regular allergies but whenever I realized that I felt my nostrils were inflamed and the back of my throat was on fire (as if there was a wood fire burning in there) I had realized it was the barbecue I had eaten the day before symptoms set in. With that, I really didn't ever get the flu shot until I was forced to in the military (and now I've gotten it the past two year since I've been out). I'm no expert with the flu or other illnesses but hopefully you aren't able to catch it. Thanks for the update and get well!!!

So true about resting. Used to power through as they say. Not anymore. It prolongs the illness, and for me messes with my mental health as well. It also helps that I get my flu shot every year. This has been a huge benefit. I've not had an actual flu in like 20 years. A cold now and again, but not the flu. *knocks on wood*

Tsk tsk tsk. I’ve never had the flu either, but I get my shot, every year. And, Joe, if your wife is a teacher, you should definitely get one. I hope she gets hers, as she is a potential vector. In 1963, while working a summer job in a bacteriology lab, I received an experimental flu shot. That may be why I’ve never had the flu. . . but I’m not taking any chances.

I’m with you on the flu shot man. Every time I’ve ever gotten a flu shot it’s made me sick too (usually a fever), and then I always got the flu anyway!!! So forget it I’d rather just have the flu. But, I also haven’t been sick once since I went vegan a couple years ago so maybe that’s the ultimate flu shot. Hope you feel 100% soon.

Glad you're feeling better, last Tuesday I got sick. Normally it only affects me for about 36 hours. However I'm just now getting over it. Now I'm coughing and hacking all that gunk out of my chest! I'm lucky, I only work 3 days a week. And I was able to make two of those three days! PS, I'm right there with you, I've never had a flu shot!

Been there done that. Went through it the whole month of Oct. and half of Nov. with the shizit. Changed jobs in the middle of it besides taking my wife to the hospital to have her diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Fun times. My new jobs great. So there's that. Please do a video on cosmic strings. When I'm sick and have to go to work, I make sure to pay the boss a visit. Use my snotty hands to touch his keyboard, mouse, door handles, and anything else I can get my bacteria infested palms on. I also make sure to stand near him, breathing as heavy as I can while I ask him really idiotic things like "can you take a look at this rash."

I once got the flu so bad, when I went to the doctor after 2 days, he said I had the strain that was killing people. I was borderline hospital. He gave me 3 medications and told me not to mess around and make sure I take them as prescribed. I missed 10 work days and was sick for 3 weeks. It was hell. That is the sickest i have ever been. I literally didn't have the energy to open my eyes some days.

I had never gotten a pneumonia and had never gotten a pneumonia shot in my life until 4 years ago. My doctor INSISTED on it. Well, yup, you guessed it, within weeks of the shot, I got pneumonia in both lungs. I have since threatened my doctor with bodily harm if he gives me another. Lol

Been sick my self for two weeks dude. Used the chance and quit smoking. Sleeping almost every night now. Thats progress. Heard its good to use the opportunity since all is eff't anyway hehe. A lot of horrific detox and growing up happening these days. 🖖😁 Im almost good now too hehe. Great to see you up and "running". We should run more. I'll do it if you do it.. lol. I dare you to podcast on breathers and b4 and after .. hanging on to some subject to speak of like... have you seen the animal hugging video? How would you industrialize the moon? The experts are changing they're ideas on how early humans behaved etc etc. No pressure. Love.👊🐶

in 43 years I've only had the flu once.. I mean actual flu, not something I'd just refer to as a cold. On the other hand tho I've had a few other things like malaria twice (vivax and falciparium) and also cholera. Oh the joys of travel. I had surgery for deviated septum in 8th grade and that was the end of multiple ear infections every year and it was only then I was able to acquire my first and so far only flu.

You're not alone, Joe. I was pretty bad last week too... 😕 But here the weather have been like this... One day it's hot as hell, around 34°C. (Don't ask about °F, I have no idea.) The next day it's raining and the temperature goes down to around 10~15°C... Anyway, we're not made of iron. We're not Tony Stark.

No offense Joe, but somehow you still come across as not yet 100% . Maybe its just because you said that you were sick last week ( I knew something was off last week). Anyway, get well, or stay well. Ps does your wife get the flue every year or does she get the yearly shot? Seems to me that teachers would be the first to get sick with all those gross teens.

That sounds like a great topic for your main channel. Doing a video about how people think the flu shot can be skipped if you never get the flu. You could go into just how many 'carriers' there are because they never get sick, how carriers kill of people with compromised immune systems etc etc... I'm sure you could do a way better job then this little post. Just try and stay away from the anti vaxxers angle.
