Bought the GT low in October.I’ve ridden for over 45 years.Started on dirt bikes and have owned several street bikes as well. The last 3 were Harleys but getting to the age that the weight can be a problem in some instances like sloped stopping areas and when the bike gets leaned too far over.Absolutely love the GT low.Easy to mount as I also have a 29” inseam.Balanced beautifully and handles very light weight.Rider position straight up and cruises all day at 70mph with no problem.May I ad that this is the best street bike( adventure) I’ve ever been blessed to own.I would def encourage any of you to give it a hard study before buying another bike.Grab the joy this bike brings.Stay safe out there.

FWIW, the "standard" 900 (and 850 Sport) seat height on the low setting is 31.9", with the low seat is 31.1" and this LOW model with lower suspension and the low seat is at 29.9" so lower than a Honda Grom for reference. If you're short and a newer rider, these are the bikes for you! I don't know of another adventure-style bike with 32, 31, or 30-inch seat heights!

Hi Kate, had my Tiger GT Pro for 3 weeks now in Paris. It has exceeded my expectations in all areas. But the most surprising aspect I've found is it's stability and dexterity when filtering through very dense traffic. It has by far the best suspension and brakes of any bike I"ve owned. Acceleration is easily sufficient in sports mode and fine in the other modes. Loving the heated grips to as we plunge into negative temperatures. My perfect bike.

I’m interested in the cheaper lower spec Tiger 850 Sport in the low version. I’m 5’1” and my inseam is shorter than yours so seat height is very relevant for me. I’ve sat on the BMW F750GS in factory low suspension and extra low seat and it felt great. I’ll test ride one soon and I’m sure I will like it. But it’s more expensive than the Triumph competitor and likely not really better in the areas where I care. Perhaps you could review one even for a short period and let us short guys know how it compares.

JEB I don’t have much frame of reference given my long time away from biking (I know other reviewers say this new T plane crank triple isn’t as smooth as Triumph’s traditional three cylinder engines). There is almost a V twin quality lower down but at (running in limited) UK motorway speeds I find it fine. Nothing unpleasant through the bars or pegs, mirrors remain absolutely vibration free etc. I love the grunt and noise it makes. One man’s “character” is another man’s vibes - I have a Tesla if I want smooth though!

Great review as usual and well presented. Though I maybe getting old and I think these onboard computers are a fantastic addition and I love the dash on this and the GS BUT I'm not sure they should be able to be accessed while moving and I include sat nav's I-drives etc in cars, vans and trucks. I see many car drivers messing with their I-drives especially in traffic and motorway mainly in German cars and you guessed it Range Rovers so watch your tail end. When riding or driving for that matter concentration should be high not messing with buttons. I hope I am wrong but I can see these manufacturers selling many sets of forks.
