Picked up the darts after a few years last week and been practicsing though no routine and at 01:55 of episode 10 playing (I have played them all in the background just listening in) I hit my first ever 180. Might not sound much but I’m over the moon. Purely I believe from the tips in the first couple of videos about having a good base to work from. Onwards and upwards !

I changed to a side stance it gave me more balance and gets me closer to the board I think fundermentals are important I would concentrate on stable stance foot forward or side stance which ever is more comfortable throw normally but concentrate keeping your head still throughout the throw and follow through once you have let go of the dart there is no right or wrong way to grip the dart hold it how you want long as you are comfortable hope it helps you out

Video record your throw from behind and from your profile. That will at least show you what is happening.

You're out of your mind. Paul is one of the most knowledgeable guys there is for darts, and he's continually proves it time and time again. He definitely knows exactly what he's talking about. You probably just don't/didn't like his on-oche persona, and so you have a vendetta against him. But smart people know better than that.

He's made a very healthy living out of the sport, he competed at the top level for quite some time, he has nothing to prove in that regard.

@@blademaster9297 That's why you don't see me (Flippy) in front of a camera acting like a know it all. Guy was a twat for all his life. Met him a few times never nice always arrogant. If you enjoy these however, more power to you man its whatever
