When I held a small Tudor artefact in my hand after spotting it in the mud - I could just imagine the annoyance of the person who lost it. I haven't found very many objects from Tudor times and so I was delighted with this. This was found during a mudlarking outing in Greenwich which makes it particularly special as Greenwich does have such a rich Tudor history. I also meet up with fellow mudlark Carol and we search for history on the foreshore on a beautiful sunny morning. As usual, we end up with an eclectic mixture of finds. Perhaps you can help me ID some of them.
If you would like to try mudlarking then you do need to have a permit from the Port of London Authority. Check out their website here for more details.
