I used to watch this show as a kid.... I remember being bummed when it was cancelled! I love Robert Conrad R.I.P.... It was a great show too! Conrad got a bum rap for this show....because it was great!

@@3373-g8z Right? He embraced every role he took on and learned something in real life of the roles he took. For the WWW he did his own stunts, and often got hurt. For Black Sheep Squadron, he learned to fly. Amazing guy, Robert Conrad. RIP. I still miss him.

Because this was a QM Production,the rights to "A MAN CALLED SLOANE" could belong to CBS/Paramount,mainly because when QM Prods. were sold to Taft Broadcasting,this company also owned Worldvision Enterprises,in which was later brought by the late Aaron Spelling-and was later brought-out by Viacom in 2000,,so it would be no surprise if they now own this series,since Worldvision,like Viacom,were huge syndication giants in the 80s and late 70s, Viacom formed CBS Corporation and CBS TV Distribution.

Before Conrad started to star in this series, it was Robert Logan as Sloane. All I know, Logan only starred in one episode and then out.

Logan was Sloane in the pilot film, Death Ray 2000, which aired almost TWO YEARS after the series was canceled.
