I think religion is terrible but disagree that it ruined men. Men were just terrible and used religion to excuse their wrongdoing. But in truth, both religion and law are likely the only moral code that men can exist by. They need some fear of hellfire to keep from being barbaric. But they can only heed the fear as long as the religion portrays them as superior to all living things and also women.

It ALWAYS tickles me that so many of these dudes believe the proof that they 'love' women is the idea that they only want to date and/or marry them. How 'loving' is it to intentionally manipulate/coerce women into relationships that benefit these men to the detriment of their women? Is it 'loving' for these men to deliberately seek ways to be cruel, stingy, and neglectful to the women they're in relationship with? Since when is being hetero men the same as 'loving' women??? How is it 'loving' for these men to do whatever they can to keep their women attached to them when they KNOW that their women would often be better off without them? Is that 'love'? Or is it domination, manipulation, and control with a side order of romance once in a while? I swear I feel my brain getting smoother just listening to these crash outs!!! 😅💯🤯 #IAmTrulyEntertained 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Well put, I agree. Men are unable to support a woman in HER passions and reciprocate the effort SHE puts in to make the relationship work, men who don't encourage their partners to to achieve goals that benefit HER, the same way that women are constantly accommodating HIS needs and prioritizing HIS goals, all those men who act like that, who don't have any desire to make relationships mutually beneficial and equally satisfying... none of those men know what love actually means. Lusting for someone is not love, feeling entitled to validation and appreciation without giving it back, is not love, being cared for without being willing to care for the health of another person, is not love, physical affection without a healthy emotional bond, is not love, trying to impress someone, is not love, draining a person of their energy and hopes by overburdening her with chores, tasks and all sorts of demands while claiming to "only want peace" for yourself, is not love, trying to deprive a partner of their autonomy and independent resources while keeping those things for yourself, is not love. People who want their partners to suffer after a breakup do not know love and unfortunately, many women are also in that category, but there are certainly far more men being happy about their ex's suffering. Why is it so hard for most men to understand that love means to want the same amount of happiness and freedom for another person, that you want for yourself, whether you are around to witness it or not?

Marriage it present across all cultures, religions, and atheism thus it is a human tendency that is independent of cullture, religion, and atheism. It was invented to assign ownership and responsibility for a woman and her children to one man in the tribe. It is impossible to state whether paganism or marriage came first but they are both ancient and predate written history. Monotheism is the newest type of religion and is much younger than written history. Ofcourse it made marriage and society even worse than it was previously. Women had the right to divorce an abusive man in most pagan societies. The threat of divorce was used by pagans to keep men from being their worst self and we are using it in the modern world for the exact same thing.

Public a beg to differ when you say religion does not have an effect on marriage or relationships today. I believe they do and when you look at all the laws that they are today that are designed to oppress women. Yes it is misogyny however All of those laws are based on their religious belief, in addition to project 2025 is straight like a Roman Catholic belief where they’re extremely strict on guidelines for marriage guidelines for women, etc. etc. so I disagree when you say that religion does not affect relationships today. Two things can be true at the same time. Men can be violent and domestic violence in lesbian relationships can be higher than any other pairing (not saying this is true because I haven’t looked it up).
@unicorn73212

Not really because the lesbian couples that I've seen in my neighborhood are actually pretty normal and civilized not every lesbian gets off to roughness they usually look and dress like normal women and they quietly talk amongst themselves sometimes they are visual and they like to gossip about ugly women but for the most part there relationship are mostly about sex. At least there being honest with themselves and there not trying to be a walking stereotype...they always say women only have sex to make babies and get married then how do they explain lesbians?
@greywitchwanderer9608
18 күн бұрын
Lesbians tend to move very quickly as far as relationships go. There is also often a "masculine" figure in the pairing that has internalized misogyny. But the stat they are talking about isnt about lesbians hitting one another. Most lesbians simply had been in more DV relationships than heterosexual pairings.
@lr1698
18 күн бұрын
Everything is not about sex. Some lesbians are abstinent, some are virgins, some are asexual, some may find sex painful. I know many lesbians who have at least one child. I know 3 lesbians who are divorced from their children’s father. Also self pleasure is a common act among most humans- you don’t need to be in a relationship.

Sorry PO - respectfully you are very miss informed about marriage and where it came from. Marriage did start in religion. (To the slow ppl - christianity is not the first religion - marriage came from organized religion when women LOST their freedoms and became property) It came from the colonizers mindset that they can own ppl, land, and things- their organized religions. My culture - Native culture - NEVER had marriage, cause one should NEVER tie themselves to another and beings are free- they belong to NO ONE!! It’s the weridest thing this society does and doubles down on - but I’m sooo glad ppl are freeing themselves and not supporting “domestic slavery” This comes from a society that “owns” ppl. Natives do not believe in ownership of any living being. Women lost their freedoms and became property. This is why men had to ask fathers for permission - because women were owned by men. They could not marry who they wanted- or just leave because they were owned. This is another of MANY reason I will NEVER support that “ritual” or support that ceremony. PO you need to do real research when you speak on certain things.

@ladylarson12
18 күн бұрын
Marriage did not start from religion. Marriage was primarily about practical reasons, such as binding women to men to ensure that children were the husband's biological heirs. It was also a way to secure rights to land and property, and to serve as an alliance between families. Parents often arranged marriages for their children to benefit both sides, and most couples didn't marry because they were in love. It was a business contract first and foremost. Not a religious practice. Marriage literally pre-dates Christianity by thousands of years. Give us a link to prove your opinion. And none of us know what your “native culture” is. So be clear and specific. Where is your proof that marriage came from religion? You call people names and insist that you are correct but you still haven’t provided any proof to your claims. We have given you literal quotes from researched material and you have still provided nothing. We mention Christianity because it’s one of the most popular religions and can be easily traceable. Which would provide a more factual data timeline, as opposed to just guessing, like you are. I’ll do you one better, Hinduism is one of the oldest religions and guess what? Marriage has existed in every culture, long before the rise of Hinduism. If you don’t like our sources, then show us proof that marriage came directly from religion with your own sources. I know you won’t because you can’t. You just talk.
@masixchell

Native culture is the original ppl. We do not believe in owndership of any living being. It takes a village - came because the whole villages raises children. When the colonizers came they brought their demonic ways. Claiming things, ppl, lands. This is where that werid azz thinking that ppl can own other ppl came from. Do your real research on that demonic occult practice.
