This just absolutely blows my mind! How could any company write their employees or shoppers anything like that? Is there any way that you can forward this to someone higher up? This person should not be doing this job. This person should be fired just like he says he can fire us. Thank you so much for this video Ash, I have been thinking a lot about Instacart and this video has just made up my mind. I am deleting my account after I finish writing you. I would but I have no access to the app anymore , since I won't sign their new TOS they won't let me on. The only way I can even go on their app is by signing it. I know others can mention it to Instacart instead of me and refer to the video but I can't do much directly. I would though.

I don't think their higher ups even care. I can't report it since I'm not on their app anymore and don't have access but it's not like reporting them will get me anywhere , I prefer the public announcement haha

Well it definitely doesn't look good when someone turns it into a video haha. I appreciate that Benjamin , that's one of the reasons I went with this style of video to see how people like it. I am very capable of making more detailed and well developed videos , I'm just lazy but my old content is starting to bore me lol this was fun and actually didn't take much time for me to do today so I think I might do more of them like this. Plus it's easy for me to record from my dinning room the main part of the video lol

I will be glad as soon as they go under. hopefully uber or uber eats buys the company. always record everything including chats as well as the condition of items you delivered to the customer. even if it is hand to customer.

Anonther excellent exposé Ash! I personally avoid giving support a bad rating on most platforms as they walk the same (or worse) tightrope as us drivers. With instacart I do so because I have long suspected all you have documented.

This reminds me of the dynamic with McDonald's and UE drivers... McD's does not prioritize Uber orders the same as drive thru orders, so the UE drivers wait longer than needed for pickup. The UE drivers get mad in return, so McD's puts even LESS priority on UE orders in 'retaliation,' making the drivers even angrier. Instacart offers bad customer service, so they get bad ratings. In 'retaliation' for the bad ratings, the customer service team sends out messaged like this SMH. Well Ash, you warned us long ago to not deal with those clowns, thanks for more proof that they are not worth the trouble

I worked customer service for 11 years where surveys were super important , I would never ever go against the client just because they felt I didn't help. Clearly some people have other mindsets rather it's on the phone or in person

I doubt it would gain me any money because the employee saying that could be anyone but additionally , he's going against Instacart by writing it , not against me. I'm sure Instacart would love to pay me however to shut up lol
