For anyone to criticize a man in his 70s eating primarily animal products, and looking as young and healthy as you do, they would have to be delusional, or downright lying to themselves, and everyone else. I thought you were in your early 60s at most. The internet has many good people on it, but the ones that aren't good are the loudest. Same with anything. You're a wonderful man, Mitch. You are absolutely 100% right! I agree because I’m a hardcore carbohydrate addict, a sugar addict to be exact but I didn’t know it until very recently & I’m 71 years old. It caused all of my health problems too, every single one of them, including a heart attack & 3 strokes! I was also pre-diabetic & had an autoimmune condition, etc. The only advice I was given by the medical field was to follow the Standard American Diet which is the worst advice but I trusted the medical field at that time until I went down that rabbit hole! Being a carbohydrate addict, it’s impossible for me to moderate so I have to be strict! Finding the carnivore way of life was the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s given me a second chance at life, a second chance to live the life of my dreams! It’s never too late! BTW, I’m off of every single medication that I’ve been on for the last twenty years, 2 for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. a total of eight medications! Happy 4th of July!

I lost my husband in June and my mission in life is to spread the word about the evils of sugar and carbs so that no one will have to deal with the horrors of modern oncology treatments. Yes, carnivore slowed the cancer and greatly improved his quality of life and I am stronger and healthier than I've ever been - 17 months a carnivore and no going back!

My life and health has greatly improved . I quit my tobacco habit of 45 plus years. After 3 months, I did not think about tobacco. I currently still crave sugar and carbohydrates after 18 months. My new health addiction keeps me focused on continuing this lifestyle. Not sure there is a addiction worse than sugars and carbohydrates. Once I break free I vow to never go through this misery again. Stay strong and continue to meat, lol.

I'm a 76 YO Ketovore. I never had a sweet tooth and wouldn't eat candy, cake, pie, soda pop, pastry, chocolate, ice cream etc if I was starving. Haven't had them in decades. What I have trouble with is bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. Put a loaf of sourdough in front of me and I'll eat the whole thing with barely taking a breath. Carb addiction comes in many forms. Just because someone doesn't like sweets doesn't mean they're immune.

I have been carnivore for over 2 years, after first trying keto for about a year. At 62, and 95 pounds lighter, and with excellent metabolic health (which I didn't have before), carnivore is great. It is hard for many to recognize this, as they have been told and educated to eat the pyramid. An old saying when I was a boy it that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I like seeing the foods to cook and even the evaluation of your cooking appliances. I find your channel to be a great resource. I also watch others that talk about the benefits of carnivore which are all good. But your channel gets into the nuts and bolts of cooking and living carnivore. Thanks

Your 8th, 9th 10’s or eleventh commandment is “don’t talk about this diet” and for terrific reasons and just look at what it does to you from strangers who don’t care about you like your fan’s and member’s do. Friday night I was in Israel for my granddaughter’s wedding on Monday night and at the dinner table at my son’s house where I probably shouldn’t have been sitting I got bored and brought up the diet and man o man did I get blowback. Now my wife has read your rules that I have taped to my bedroom closet so I turned to her and said that I’m a jerk for violating Mitch’s rule to not talk about the diet and she understood and that made me feel a lot better. But poor you you are trying so hard to sincerely help so many struggling people and in order to keep doing this you have to put up with so many hurtful comments and only because you are putting your heart and soul and time and money into helping as many people as you can.

Hi Mitch. Poor you! People don’t need to watch you that don’t agree with your lifestyle, and you are a lovely, helpful, and (lol) opinionated man. You inspire, there are no holds barred with you. Keep being you. There are lots more supporters than haters. And…. There’s always “one in a crowd”. I could not be a youtube content creator, for this very reason. Hugs to you!!

There must be a sliver of Dutch in you! I love your directness. I have the same approach, in the 'I don't care' response when people start vomiting words. Your vids are quite entertaining. Keep 'm coming

You feel better, you are happy doing it, so keep it up. Some people are jealous losers. One of my coaches told me, “Losers make excuses, Winners find a way”. You found what works for you so you are a winner.

Very well said! Always enjoy watching you. It’s nice to see other people’s journeys and what works for them. Easier said done, but ignore the ones who have to “give their two cents worth”, when it ain’t worth diddly squat!

Mitch, don't let negative comments bother you. What you are doing is very admirable and your good health is the payback. Most people are ignorant as to how diet affects your health and they are lashing out of ignorance. Just remember the the line from a Seinfeld comedy; "Here's to those that wish us well and all of the rest can go to hell"!!!

Those haters probably make big dollars in the sugar and plant based business just ignore them

I understand the power of addiction. My husband is addicted to sugar and finds the carnivore lifestyle difficult to fully commit to whereas I do not find it difficult. We are both in our 70s and have embarked on this journey as we want our lives to be quality rather than a series of illnesses. Thank you for your input that helps us navigate the carnivore lifestyle. So many people have been brainwashed into thinking that the standard American Diet is healthy and their health has suffered as a consequence. Western medicine isn’t geared to working towards ridding us of disease but maintaining disease and clearly the SAD works to maintain disease. A vicious cycle.

To be fair to the hundreds of people who will disagree after this video, being carbohydrate addicted is definitely in the tin foil hat end of the public eye right now. Many of us are aware it's a thing, but many newcomers will think you are out of your mind. Anyways, have a Happy 4th Mitch, hopefully this comment finds you in a better mood than you were in the video.

I know it's hard to let that one small minded minority get to you, I've had similar comments on my channel, but you just have to find a way to just blow it off and laugh because these people are..... Lacking any meaning in their lives. What you're doing is great, You're doing really Amazing things. You're educating us!. So....thank you for these videos. ...So much appreciated. Stay strong, be healthy. Have a great 4th.👏👏👏

I like it Mitch. I have not been as disciplined as I could be but still notice a massive difference, the only downside is missing the carbs, no detrimental affects only pluses.
