During the distortion portion I forgot to switch my lapel mic so it sound's a bit tinny. My bad, sounded good in person.

I have a 2008 model, it has some very welcome upgrades to the shape and the neck heel. It's a beast, my favorite guitar ever made. Shame the newer models don't have a chameleon finish. It's just a beautiful finish.

I own the exact guitar. You may have scoop some wood under trem springs, mine were too close and kept trem from floating properly when diving or pulling up. I've had to hex screws on bridge break over the years so replaced those and had to move strap buttons because of neck dive. I changed bridge pickup to a Tone Zone and it works well with D Activator in neck. It's a beautiful beast.

I'd say it looks more like a Jackson Warrior than a Firebird, but that's just me.

I've owned that exact model for years, great guitar but can be troublesome. Had to scoop some wood under trem springs because they were touching a lot, so much trem wouldnt float. It's light but neck dive is awful, may have to move strap buttons if want to play standing up. When frets are leveled plays like a dream. Don't like ceramic pickups though, I put the Tone Zone in the bad boy. Also, the locking hex screws on bridge will break more easily than most I've run across so 2 have been replaced. Like I say though, its a great guitar to own, always catches people eye.

I wonder if a Jackson Kelly would fit in that case?

What? You might as well say the Firebird is a Les Paul, even those are closer in design
