I think the main issue brought up about flex cuts is based on sound. They can help with flex a bit, but the main contributor to flex is always going to be the mounting style, however, flex cuts definitely make boards sound thinner and more quiet compared to non-flex plates and pcbs.

seeing berkeley farms milk in the video gives me bittersweet memories. i live in the bay area and work in a coffee shop. we used to use it as our milk for our dairy-based espresso beverages but had to use a different brand because they went out of business but i did hear that another company had bought the naming rights but it's not made in berkeley farms.

KBDFans are excellent, but this particular board has too many flaws. 2 very short m3 screws are all that hold the 2 case halfs together, if one of these threads gets damaged, it's toast. The daughter cable routing was also unnecessarily fiddle & the PCB didn't work out the box & had to flashed when I got mine.

Great points! It was a bit puzzling to get VIA working at first, but the actual process wasn't difficult once I found out what to do.

These are minor inconveniences at best. Reflashing the PCB takes no time at all once you've done it before and honestly I've never had to deal with damaged threads on ANY board no matter how long I'd been using it. I wouldn't know about the daughterboard but that's just a part of the assembly and not a flaw that comes up during use.
