Such stations are very popular here in Ukraine. Our local manufacturers are overwhelmed with consumer requests. No blackout in my region, but as I am all about electricity and my job relates heavily to it things like this can be a game changer this winter. Batteries are great. We have 2 Tesla Powerwalls rated at 14 kWh each. They get charged by the solar and have largely eliminate our electric bills. In some summer months we were spending close to $500 and now we are spending approximately $10 which to get a connection to the grid. We also always have power in our house. And we can sell power back to the grid. During some events we get $2/kWh such as the recent electricity shortfall event. Adding the Powerwalls to the solar install increased the costs by $12,500 full installed. I wished we would have added a 3rd Powerwall.

@@bausHuckif you are going to 10.2 kW of solar I suggest thinking about adding a second Powerwall if the budget allows. Adding a second Powerwall will extend your time you can run in a power outage, also it extends the time you don't buy power, which can reduce your bills.

I just picked up the Ecoflow Delta Pro because of the bigger inverter, and smart gas generator option in the event there is no sun for a few days. I can pick it up myself (~100 lbs) versus this unit's heft. Both are awesome, but I thought the Delta Pro has the edge, especially the app. I have other Bluetti products. Ecoflow seems a little better built.

Good recommendation. I'd say the Ecoflow's price per watt-hour is also better. True...the Delta Pro only has 70% of the watt-hours of the Bluetti - but for only 60% of the price. In a grid down situation it’s good to keep your fridge running for a few days. But remember, The more stuff you add to it the faster it will drain and in a grid down situation, you need to be conservative. But the big thing people don’t really look into is how long it will take to fully charge the unit with just those solar panels. Trust me. Run a test to see how long it will take to fully charge your unit from 25% with those panels. You’re going to need more panels or plan B. Run a test and you will see what I’m talking about. Trust me, do your test now and have a plan B. Not when you need it the most and find out you should have ran a test Good luck

I pre-ordered one of these units on Indiegogo and when they became available, I was told by Bluetti that they could not ship to Canada. I arranged delivery to a US location and private freight transport to Canada, and then was told that it would take several more months to fulfill the order. So, instead they offered the AC200MAX with 2 x B300 extension packs and some solar panels, which seemed like an acceptable deal. After 2 months of light use, the barrel connector of the AC charger fused to the unit (completely unable to unplug it, trying to force it from the outside started to tear the body) and it would produce toxic fumes if I tried to charge it. The B300 units didn't always sync to the AC200MAX, almost a 50/50 chance that both would sync to the main unit at power up. I heard some warnings about the Bluetti products from battery enthusiasts but I was attracted to the design aesthetics and the promise for a large capacity and high inverter output at a good price. I hope EP500 users have better experiences that what happened to me, good luck.

The one thing that annoys me the most about all these new devices coming out is that people are calling Power Storage Devices, Generators. These devices "DO" "NOT" "GENERATE" Power. They Store power for later use, if you don't plug it into a power source or an actual "Power Generator" guess what...you won't have any power. Other than that yeah its pretty it has 5000+ WH of storage hence the weight. You could build something with just as much storage on wheels and make it look pretty with 3D printing and give it all the more features for roughly the same price if not cheaper.
