Dump speed is a major factor that so many dump trailer manufacturers seem to overlook. It’s refreshing to see MaxxD with that dual pump setup.

That big warrior winch is something I absolutely need. My Warn 16.5 isn’t strong enough for what I do so I’ll definitely be trying one of these asap. I like the hidden winch setup in that equipment trailer too but I have to wonder how long that latch will live.

Some of those trailers the amount of standard stuff is really quite nice a tilt deck with the roller on the front of it that makes it for very nice you’re not messing up either synthetic or wire rope winch cable, I also like the the one aluminum trailer with the full flat ramp we’re going down the road that would save a lot on wind resistance

I like the MaxxD dump trailer due to 10k axles, but really wish it comes in a tripple. Only bad thing is that spare rims/tires are going to be hard to find, maybe even a special order.

Was I the Only one that seen those horrible welds on that Black Rhino trailer aluminum low pro trailer. WTF. and you brought that to a trailer show. I'd be like your "FIRED" but The new SURE-TRAC Trailer was really nice

I was at that show 2021. Saw some pretty cool stuff, and saw some pointless stuff. Like a receiver hitch step that doesn't extend out from under a folder down tailgate. Yes, I know you can put an extension on it but that should be part of the sales pitch.

Speaking from 30 years of off road experience I prefer Warn winches. I have not heard of this other winch brand so it would be interesting to see where they are made.

As a welder, those 25% stronger welds from black rhino looked HORRIBLE. I'd put my 3 of my buddies tig welding and alum mig welding those same trailers at spec against their first 10 trailers on the market. Those welds were horrible

Fellow tig boy here, I liked how he made it seem like “their” wire is so special… they are using 4943. It is a great wire but they are not the only ones using it! Just started up my own trailer business, launching January 1st. They will be the talk of the show next year.

The spilt gooseneck trailer is NOT new. Fred Mann, who has since passed away, patented this design and used it in his trailers. His company was Mann Manufacturing. I should know because my wife and I had a trailer dealership in northern MN and sold Fred’s trailers. I used one of the split goosenecks in hauling for hire.

The welding on the rhino trailer is a bit eeck, the stops and starts are cold and rather obvious that they were not feathered, there is undercut, and the exposed beads on the railing and the capped tubes could have been blended with a burnishing instead of leaving them as they are, not a good look cosmetically speaking, or at least tig the caps. They really need to look at their welding procedure, investing in pulsed mig and get some training on it, looks like regular spoolgun beads. Heck, they didn't even clean all the soot from the joints/beads, how difficult is it to run a brass wire wheel or cup.

aluminum trailers should never be welded. it will crack no matter what. only rivets or huck bolts will hold strong enough and allow for enough flex. schuut is the only company making then that way and the germans.
