ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS, and this Not your classic fish and chips!
Photo Chip Crusted Fish
Only 4 ingredients and no oven required!
Ingredients:
2 lbs. white Fish cleaned and prepped (I used lingcod my husband is the king fisherman)
3 tbsp yellow mustard
1/4 cup hot sauce (I used red devil)
2 cups crushed potato chips (I used symphony gourmet original potato chips (hence why I didn't need any other seasonings (28 herbs and spices that's all you need for this)
Directions:
To a bowl, add the mustard, the hot sauce, and the prepared Fish! Mix the ingredients well, ensuring each piece of fish is generously coated. Cover the bowl and let everyone get acquainted (marinated overnight for more flavor, but you can coat and air fry immediately it's just a matter of preference.
Use a plastic zip lock bag to crush your symphony potato chips to resemble bread crumbs (or, in my case, bread crusts) shake off any extra mustard off the fish then coat the fish in the symphony crushed potato chips. Depending on the size of the air fryer will determine if you can air fry all at once, I had to fry in two batches! Coat the air fryer with cooking spray or if you're fancy use a liner (another one of those it's your choice situations) set the air fryer to 400 degrees bake the fish for 10-13 minutes you'll know when they are done as the fish will be flaky and the symphony potato chips will be crispier (not burnt keep your eye on them) and golden brown. Serve with a lemon garlic Aioli or tartar sauce or just eat then plain (but there is nothing plain about this fish with these incredible chips)
