You can use the commutative property first when rationalizing a denominator so the smaller square is subtracted from the larger one. If it’s 1+root10, change it to root10+1 so the conjugate is root10-1 so you end up with 9.

You should have multiplied by(Sq root5+Sq root 3)-Sq root 8,that would have been much easier.but thanks for providing good questions.
