Haha in my opinion he most certainly did yes. To be fair though, post filming when we took the thumbnail-photo I did figure out some details that made it slightly more manageable, still hard though!

You need to tape that kneepad on. Dave Graham i think even uses spray bandage to get it fix on his skin. that's real commitment because say goodbye to your hair.😱

How did you size your Drone CS compared to other shoes, and how much did they stretch during break in? Love your vids, and your explanations of the minute beta changes that you try and their effects!
@KirstenRietveld
Жыл бұрын
Mad Rock recommends to go up half a size from your regular Drone. The CS is a bit smaller. I personally wear my drones -0.5 but I don't size them for performance because pain doesn't actually make me climb better hah. -0.5 feels tight but not painful for me, once worn in.

I love the drones but hate the comp style. Feels like my toes are going to break trying to climb slabs outside, and there is this weird ball in the sole of the shoe that does nothing but cause discomfort. Drone OGs are goated though
@EmilAbrahamsson
Жыл бұрын
Oh interesting! For me they’ve been nuts for slabs outdoors. I kind of get that they can feel painful though, cordi had a similar experience. I was gonna ask if you’ve broken them in much, but it sounds like you have? For me they sucked the first 2-3 sessions is why I ask. Since then they’re my every-session-go-to-shoe 😌
@andrefivethousand

Agree with Emil. I’ve absolutely loved my comp drones for outdoor, frictiony slab. Still prefer the og drones for vertical sport climbing. But happy to have the comps for the gym and for outdoor slab 👏

@@EmilAbrahamsson Is there a way to get the new Drone CS in Europe if u are not sponsored by MadRock ? I can only find them on their US webside with no shipping option anywhere outside of the US. I love the OG Drone but the sole always detaches pretty fast from the shoe. All drone users i know had this issue in the past
