I was lost in the sins of the alphabet and what people need is love and TRUTH love is nothing without the truth. I needed to be informed I was a sinner and lost and needed to repent of all my sins and turn back. I heard this many times especially from my Christian parents, they never accepted my lost sexuality and always informed me I needed to find my identity in Christ. So today I give people the truth and let God do the rest, the Holy Spirit convicted me in Gods explicit timing, it’s not just about love ) acceptance without the truth is a highway to hell. Please tell people truth in love not either or. 🙏✝️ God opens blind eyes brothers and sisters 👍 in his timing not ours. I just wanted to add there’s a fear by many people saved and unsaved that by being honest they will lose the person, such as was the case with my parents re my adoption for example, but if you don’t inform people of truth they can’t navigate and run to the cross and Gods grace and mercy they instead make up games in there head to cope, Gods grace and mercy is not to be obfuscated because you think the person will lose there way they already have capiche, they need Gods truth delivered for this is there only hope 👍✝️🙏 do not water truth down to make it palatable because of your fears that is satans way. 🙏 in other words don’t inject your fears over Gods word, people need truth not emotional manipulation and psychological padding.

I practiced different sexual perversions even though it was not LGBT - type. I had no idea that God is actually real and that it is a serious sin. Even after God revealed Himself to me, I still continued to live in sexual sins and only when He began to directly chastise me from it, I began to change. So, I understand the condition of worldly people who live in different sins, they are spiritually blind and in the grip of Satan and only God can make them see and liberate them from that bondage. So, it is definitely true that we ought not to have any judgmental and condemning attitude towards them even if we most definitely need to make it clear that the lifestyle, they are living is sinful before the eyes of God.

God never equates fornication or adultery with LGBT, the two are very different. Trying to make them equivalent is heresy, because what you are doing is turning God’s truth into a lie. When we try to excuse (which is what everyone is trying to do here) we end up doing Satans work for him.

Hey brother, I'm sorry for some of the unkind responses from folks who I suspect are wearing my jersey, when it comes to this issue. So let me kindly and charitably ask if there is a time when our responsibility in the moment is to stand between evil and the innocent. Is there a time when our responsibility is to put down Goliath or defend against the crowd outside Lot's house? It seems that there is a need for more sheep to learn when they are to function as sheepDOGS, protecting other sheep against the wolves. We have a woman who had surgery to look like a man, come to our church. She was LOVED. She was given the gospel and she repented, and is now a strong advocate for Christ. My church sees that as radically different from hostile dangerous warriors for Molech and Ashterah, bent on recruiting children into their cult of self-mutilation. There needs to be a clear rebuke of that kind of evil and actions taken to punish the attempted sexualization of a minor, does there not? There seems to be scores of biblical accounts that are not taken into consideration, when it comes to this discussion and that's what makes parents so upset when they see videos like this one. "Love your neighbor" doesn't even begin to cover what we're dealing with, right now. Instead, we need to be discussing brothers like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and more and more folks are realizing this. What you're talking about is absolutely true, when it comes to the woman at the well. No matter how she's dressed or how she smells, we are called to love. But if I see a man opening his raincoat for a 4 year old, that's a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY, as well it should be.

Brother we appreciate your tone and we understand completely. God has provided the sword to the government to protect the innocent. I agree at times they fail this responsibility as do Christians to preach the gospel. We should always aim to protect the innocent (helpless) among us. This is a given. But we also must realize that we are here primarily preach the gospel to set free those who are slaves of sin.

@@THEOCAST That's fair, and I think it matters to many folks to hear you say that. Sometimes, it can sound like we're being told that it's ungodly for we, as believers, to stand up with Telemachus and say, "In the name of Christ, STOP!" As I've been saying for a while now, just simply confronting the evil in society, will lead to all the opportunities to preach the gospel, we could ever ask for. And when that happens, that's when we love tenaciously, while holding the line of God's truth at the same time.

You've very neatly packaged my talking points within my own circles. I see far too many fellow Christians seeking to wield political conservatism, legal systems, social activism, etc. in their effort to stamp out porneia. These same people would tell you they love their neighbor, yet wield such animosity as to only serve to scare off any potential converts and to create further enmity with God. I see very little love for neighbor in contemporary Christianity, and instead witness a climate of fear and disgust that leaves little room for meeting people where they are as Jesus did.

I don't exactly understand how to give the truth in love. I was mormon and I don't know how tell mormons all the things wrong with that in a loving way. I watch Jeff Durbin to try and learn how to teach them, but I still end up sounding like I'm pronouncing judgement. And with this issue, I am same sex attracted, I've dealt with it since I was young, and nearly went all the way down that path, But God saved me out of that lifestyle. And again even with my background on this sort of issue I still don't know how to speak the truth in love to these people. Enlighten me if you can, I want to reach and help these people, but again I sound like I'm pronouncing judgement everytime I attempt to explain to them the love of God and the need they have for a savior...

Just as Jesus loves and accepts us both separate from and despite our sin, we can love those caught in sin in a way that separates them from their sin. We CAN accept them as a person, affirming them as an image bearer, without condoning the sin. Condemnation treats the sinner according to their sin, gospel distinguishes the sinner from their sin, as something that can be eternally separated from them. As Jesus loved us, so we are to live them.

For being so technically careful with theology, it seems very unfitting to speak about "who they are" and "change their gender" as if someone can actually be transgender or actually change one's own gender. It's the Truth that sets free, but you seem to be withholding the Truth which these people need. Love is Truth, so you seem to be withholding love. It would be a bit different, coming from someone who speaks loosely, but I've never known you to speak loosely, so I tend to take you as meaning what you said "change gender", and that is a loveless way to say it.
