You could see it for yourself it is unfortunate that he can no longer be on scene for a lot of what he's shooting nowadays but that's what happens when you're 94. How this perfectness came into existence by chance is mind boggling to me. There HAS to be a designer/planner/architecture behind the perfect and beautiful planet that we live in. Impossible.

@mojoesodope2082
3 жыл бұрын
@@junodonatus4906 the theory of evolution is a "theory". There's no evidence for it. Based on a bunch of observations on some birds in the galapagos, Darwin came up with the theory. Small adaptations in species based on the environmental changes may be possible, but coming into existence of such a complex world we live in from nothing is impossible. We don't "fully" understand that concept thru science. Only religion can explain it.
@junodonatus4906
3 жыл бұрын
@@mojoesodope2082 If you don't know what a scientific theory is (not the layman's usage) then you literally don't know the first thing about science or its methodology. You are making very uninformed and naive arguments. Science proceeds from evidence, following a meticulous method. Let's fist define "observation" - an observation is not something seen with one's own eyes (a very weak form of evidence). An observation is a noted "perception" of something relevant and important. For example, DNA left behind is an observation of the former presence of an individual at the scene of a crime. A dog uses its sense of smell to observe the world around it. It is a fact that most of our DNA shares commonality with other species - and the degree to which it does so is indicative of our relatedness. Even our own immune systems recognize this, indicated by the strength of it's response to introduced proteins from various species. To support evolution, for starters, is the fact that we have been able to domesticate so many species of flora and fauna which proves change - that we can greatly alter the physical features as well as behaviors of many animals and change their genome by proxy. Because of the unnatural rate at which we have been able to do this dogs are now more genetically distant from their wolf ancestors than we are from chimpanzees. Natural selection, acting upon random genetic mutations occurring in germ cells that are expressed in the organism, provides environmental selective pressure similar to that of human selecction in breeding for particular traits. This has been borne out in real world experiments. As far as the continuation of this change over time, both the geological history of the Earth (in terms of plate tectonics for one) as well as the distribution of life on this planet alone provide solid proof of common descent with modification taking place as adaptive responses to unique environmental niches. Today's unique Australian species show common descent and diversification and are not found anywhere else in the world. There are, likewise, no Penguin fossils found anywhere between a supposed boat landing on mount Ararat and Antarctica. 😁 Then there is the supporting fossil record (we never found a rabbit fossil in the Cambrian 🤔), homologous features (vertebrates share a common skeleton with modification or fusing of individual bones over the course of distribution and speciation) whose incremental development (such as that of the eye) can actually be seen in stages by observing extant living species (we can also observe various stages of brain development by looking at different species - research the "triune brain), DNA/genetic sequencing (already mentioned), moleular genetics (which reflect shared ancestry), reverse engineering of dormant traits (expressing teeth on a chicken embryo for example), just to name a few. We have observed the development of the basic building blocks of life as well as specieation and diversification under controlled laboratory conditions. Before you can begin to assert intelligent design/religiin/creator you must first demonstrate either one or both, yet you can do neither. For example, there are a great many inefficiencies in nature that are best explained by competition and natural selection acting upon individuals and that actually contradict the type of organized efficient system that would be expected of a intelligent designer. The latter is borne out to a great extent in the many inefficiencies of the human body and it's resulting predictable ailments. Our feet, our spine, our cranial nerves...each indicate bad (stupid) design - that evolution had to modify these features and was limited by what came before, and not an intelligent designer.

@@mojoesodope2082 On the formation of the universe from "nothing": "The reason why it is so difficult for us to grasp this concept is due to a common misconception about the meaning of the word "nothing" in this context. We typically think of "nothing" the way we would perceive the inside of an empty shoe box. Open the lid and look inside, we see nothing. How could it be that something then magically appears out of nowhere inside that box? When talking about the origins of the universe, "nothing" means a state where there is nothing of substance in existence, because there is neither positive nor negative energy - no heat, no cold, no atoms of anything. However, in this particular nothingness, energy still exists (quantum energy). It does not have a physical form. It can exist in physical form, it just doesn't because all of the positive energy is perfectly counterbalanced by all of the negative energy. Time has no meaning, because there are no atoms to move around and give meaning to time. We don't have a word in common English to properly describe such a state because this situation only existed prior to the existence of the universe, so we use the next best description which is "nothing". (A better description might be "neutral state"). Various theories exist as to why this state rapidly changed about fourteen billion years ago to produce a universe - our universe. Some physicists suggest it was random quantum fluctuations Even at this point this might sound far fetched, but physicists claim to have detected and even created these fluctuations. Perhaps these fluctuations have always existed, but it was only when these fluctuations randomly aligned that a strong enough force existed to create a minuscule imbalance between positive and negative energy, which in turn started a cascade reaction that grew and grew, until eventually there was enough positive energy to take on a physical form and the early universe popped into existence - a dense ball of energy that initially expanded, then eventually cooled sufficiently for a separate process to occur whereby that energy formed into individual atoms (about 10^80 of them). We call that process "The Big Bang". It is more than just a theory. There is empirical evidence that it did occur, such as the movement of the galaxies and background cosmic radiation."

You can make god assertions all you like but history shows that human beings created the biblical god 3,500 years ago. They did this by copying ancient myths. Gods are no more than the creations of primitive people who didn't have the means to understand their world.

I teared up at the moment when the video was over. I just reflected on something. If we don't act now, and this beautiful Earth that He made will be destroyed, where else would we ever live? I wanted everybody to see this. I let my siblings watched it and after that, they weren't as emotional as I was.

Human beings created all gods. If we want to save the planet human beings must discard primitive beliefs in fairy tales and embrace science.
