I have a ShineMate Rotary Polisher. I love it, Like the other ShineMate machines, it has an extremely useful low start speed at 700rpm maxing out at 2500 rpm. With a advanced built in load sensing module to give a constant speed output. This combined with the newly designed double reduction gearing offers a higher torque output and gives the polsiher even better performance and resilience for long periods of use. The unique two-level gear structure outputs strong torque which is twice of the common single gear-set polishers. It also comes as standard with a extra long 5 meter cord offering reliable constant power. Great thing is that how many backing plates, pads and accessories are supplied including 1.2", 2' & 3" M14 backing plates, a 80mm stainless steel extension bar and a total of 36 pads!

I own two Shinemate Machines, the EX605 with a 5 inch backing plate and the smaller 3 inch EX603. Both have a 12mm throw, a long cable and are very comfortable due to the small form factor. Are the big brand machines better? I don‘t know. All I know is that the respective counterparts cost more than twice as much. This was a no brainer for me.

If it's your first and only polisher, used only occasionally on your personal vehicles I'd probably say go with the 15mm. I'd also consider even just a standard 8mm for a first machine, like this one: kzitem.info/news/bejne/up5jmHmVn1-riGU It would allow you to just quickly swap to a 3" backing plate and pads for tight spots and edges without having to buy a second polisher. Without a 3" polisher, a long throw can be a bit unwieldy for doing an entire vehicle, especially a 21mm.. 👍👌✌

@@majesticdetail3422 The "Pro Model" could very well be made by Shine Mate with upgraded performance, its a typical negotation tactic to leverage business to get better pricing. So if Adam's says if we offer you the "Pro Model" business , what prices and cost reductions are you willing to give us on all our business with you. Like wise Adam's will also go to Shine Mate's competition for quote on all or a portion of the business compare quotes. Everyone quoting knows this, so a good way to get a good price, of which you still negotiate down with each contender using the othet quotes as leverage. The suppliers are all competing for businees, they could be awarded all three models, one model, two models, etc. In the negotion process there are a lot of other considerations beyond price, quality is a huge one. In the negotiation and awarding of business one interesting thing is, and contrary to popular belief, the winner does not always have the lowest price. Sometimes a supplier is invited to quote and the purcasing company has no intention of giving them business, it is to get another price for for leverage in negotiations. When you break down a quote, there are various sections, material cost, labor, purchased components ,etc that make up a final price. Each supplier will be more efficient in certain areas, so you may only use a portion of a suppliers quote to negotiate with other suppliers. Each supplier quoting doesn't know how many suppliers or who has been invited or what they were asked to quote, jockying for business is an interesting game.

I received an Adam's $100 gift card for Chritmas in 2018, my intention was to keep it until 2019 Black Friday, and buy sonething non-perishable, they were running a special combo price for the 5 " 15mm Swrl killer and 3" mini Swirl Killer, then came the Black Fiday discount, my out of pocket cost after the gift card was in the low 100s ( Two DAs, mind you) , I have not yet used them on a vehicle, but have been using them on practice panels, I'd rate them at very impressive, I'd say buy it now if you can catch a good sale, or if you don't have or are on need of one. I eanted to test thier out of the box performance, after running them for a while, I did swap out the factory grease for "Red Wolf" Grease, good stuff been using on other things before I discovered detailing a couple of years ago, I know Griot's puts in Mobile One at the factory. Just my humble opinion.
