I keep a container of graphite powder in my tool box for door hinges. I keep a metal punch for making a dent in steel for drilling a hole in it. I keep box end wrenches (metric and standard) and sockets (metric and standard) extensions, a socket wrench, a long breaker bar, allen wrenches, a hack saw, a long crow bar, a 15 lb. solid iron wood splitting maul, a corded Saw -zall, drill, skill saw a long level, extension ladders and step ladders. The problem I've noticed, since becoming a very old man, is it's easier to find a tool I need at the hardware shop in town than trying to find the tool in my work shop. Greetings from across the pond in the States.

Cheers, absolutely; it is good to build up a separate collection of essentials kept away from the main chest/box/bag. Building up DIY skills also so can tackle repairs. many thanks and all the best. C

Good little handy kit. Every homeowner should have a basic DIY tool kit and know how. I have found a lot of stuff, both around the house and for the cars have gone to torx, so a good supply of those can be handy. Also always keep a voltmeter around if poking into electrical things, never know what the previous guy(s) was thinking putting the wires in :) Thanks for sharing, and take care!

great toolbag but id add a few things, a small pair of snips for cutting and stripping wire, some electrical tape (altho you kinda have it covered with the gaffa tape) and maybe a junior hacksaw incase you need to cut metal pipes
