Grew up in Seymour on George street then Birchwood drive. Now retired and settled in a small country town over looking forests hills and valleys in Pa. Will always miss friends, schools and family growing up there. Frank Larkin SHS class of 65.

Attended Maple St. School till fourth grade. Diagonally across the street was Muzzy's to get candy and soda. Across from that was a small store. I used to deliver groceries to the elderly in a van. Big wooden stairs at downtown, walked up those carrying my newspapers to deliver for a few years. SHS 1972...some of the best years of my life.

This is Richard Fischer, Jr. My grandfather, Walter Fischer, and grandmother, Elma Fischer, built the home that sits to the left of the Seymour Library, located at 50 Church St. They have both gone home to be with the Lord many many years ago now. My Aunt Doris (Dot) Fischer, and Uncle Emil Fischer (my grandfather Walter's brother), used to own the home that I believe was the third home on the right side of West Street if you came down Church Street and turned right on West. Their back yards joined each other and we used to meet in the middle to play horseshoes at their shared horseshoe pit. I was just looking at Google Earth for that area today, and I noticed that there apparently had been a big fire near the corner of 313 and 67. I don't recall what was located there...can you help with that info? Also, my other grandparents, Paul and Matilda (Tilly) Nystrom lived at 29 Lakeview Ave...just a few miles away. We used to be able to get their via Rt 8, but the end of their street was blocked off long before they moved to Florida and have also since gone home to be with the Lord...but it was just down the street from a small pond at the top of their street. Can't remember the name of the pond. Back somewhere between their home and my other grandparent's home, was a home my parents owned for a brief period of time. If memory serves me, I think the address was 24 Meadow St. Is there any chance you could possibly get a video of those sections of town and share it with me? I'd love to be able to show my wife Carrie my old stomping grounds...but living in Houston TX, probably won't happen any time soon in person anyway. Thanks and Blessings!!
