@@Rookie_Rockounding I figured that there was something going on in your private life, I was hoping it was not really bad and something you couldn't come back from. I know you have a deep passion for this rock obsession we have been cursed with but I did fear that the orient had reclaimed you and the addiction of the bonsai had taken over, ( I had thirty trees before I realised I needed help). Bounce back when you feel comfortable again, i'm sure there are many people who miss you and miss seeing that nasty beard every two weeks. Stay the course but only if it is not putting any strain on your personal life, family and work are the most important and in that order, plus I will be comming after you if you quit before sending me my Prize from the symon thirsty bet. Chin up, go on an adventure find some gold and bring back the pleasure your followers are all missing. Stay safe my friend.

Hello from Australia. That is where they are and so am I. My parents were at a place called Wilson's creek and it had some nice choice carnelian. Most had a very thin skin. I saw a little piece or pointed part sticking out of the ground and struck it with a pick. Seeing dark orange material in it I knew immediately it was carnelian. I dug and dug until finally a big almost twice the size and shape of a human brain appeared with the skin on. I call it my petrified brain. It's really heavy and had a hole showing crystals. Love to get it cut one day. Another stone I found there was the shape of a six to eight inch geode with a thin dark red skin on. I smashed it in half to find it had white crystals all joined in the center. If you live in Queensland I could tell you of a few good places. Happy hunting.

Tbh, I'd be terrified of boating, and sticking my hand under logs & such. So much to kill you.

That looked like so much fun! I am from WA state, US and I don't think we have such beautiful specimens in the Pacific Northwest. There are so many different rocks that all of you collected. We do have Chalcedony and some thunder eggs. I have not been out to any good sites to rockhound as I don't have a car. But someday soon! It was such a great video and I always love your adventures.

Heyyy Jackie! Yeah we are definitely spoilt out here. Once you get that car, head out exploring. It’s such a great time when you find a creek full of these beautiful nature treasures 😊😉

@@Rookie_Rockounding I definitely will do that. I have a river 2 blocks away from me that I have explored a little and I am just an hour from a good spot I want to go search up the mountains. It's 4am here so goodnight and thanks again for sharing.

Show of hands, who else has almost lost their shorts due to the weight of rocks in your pockets? 🙋🏼♀️
