A short taster of our first efforts to film a sailing adventure from a 14 foot, 66 year old sailing dinghy! We were just testing mounts and types of shot on this trip so didn't think about A roll but it was such a great little trip I've made a cut anyway for the memories!
Our boat, Ad Astra is a Leader Dinghy which belonged to my grandfather. She was in a sorry state of repair when we took her on and countless hours of repair and restoration later it was absolute magic to be catching a Force 6/7 and planning along, waves breaking over the bow! This nicely contrasted with the peace and quiet of a woodland camp.
Hope you enjoy. Now we've worked out how, a slicker production is planned (after a few more repairs!)
